Hi guys, short update because I've been super busy with my studies. My igcses are coming and here I am with zero motivation to study :(

In front of me is Charles, sitting like he owns the place. Of fucking course he'd be here, why does my life quite literally hate me. I see Jack and Mer cover me, Jack going up front as Mer stands a little diagonally behind him.
"Ooh lover boy to the rescue, I see"
Me and Jack growl.
"You very well know that we're just friends Charles, just cut to the chase and tell my what the fuck you want" I say coming ahead.
"A little feisty now are we, fiance" he emphasizes on fiance and it truly just makes me want to puke.
"I don't think you heard me, what. do. you. want." I repeat
"Let's see, how about my bride?"
"I am going to be polite. See here's the thing, right before the marriage, some wise man told me how he fell in love and assured me his support if I wanted to back down. So I took the very simple decision of not wanting to spend the rest of my life with a man whore like you"
I saw his face boil with anger in contrast to his calm and steady voice.
"Oh so you no longer need my kingdom's riches to support this wise man now? Or did you get what you wanted that night darling?"
If I could I would have killed Charles right then, but I just balled up my fists and walked up to him.
"You're making it hard for me to not kill you right now"
"Are you sure honey?"
"Stop with the fucking pet names they only make me hate you more" I spat in his face
"Let's talk business then" I wait for him to continue
"See here's the thing, I need a wife to make sure my bastard brother does not get the throne and you need a kingdom to support yours. And according to our deal we were supposed to be getting married today. Now you could marry me or I could tell the entire world how vulnerable the great Sunrise Kingdom is right now while their only child was an impure slut who slept with me".
I open my mouth to speak only to realize I don't actually have anything against him, how fucking amazing.
