Jeno let out a sigh in relief before turning to his wristwatch. "9:30 pm". He cracked his knuckles and closed his computer before reaching for his phone.
"Hani... Hani..." He mumbled while searching for her name in his contact number.
A smile crept on his face and he clicked her number before waiting for the person on the other line pick up.
Calling 'Ryu Honey 🐯' . . .
Suddenly the door swung opened, revealing his best friend.
He walked in with his usual coffee in his hand, smiling widely to Jeno who's on his phone. "who's that?" he asked and Jeno shook his head before placing his hand up, asking Jaemin to quiet down.
Jeno raised his eyebrows and turned to Jaemin before grinning, "it's ringing" he smirked and leaned back against his chair waiting for the girl to pick up.
"who is it? Renjun-" "shush!!" The person on the other line finally picked up and a wide smile crept on his face.
"what do you want Mr. Lee, I have a lot of works to do"
He giggled and smiled to Jaemin who had a confusion written all over his face. "are you still at office?" he asked and the girl took a deep breath before sighing, "yes"
"why are you always sighing, honey?"
Jaemin's eyes widened and he ran beside Jeno, putting his ear next to his phone, immediately know who's on the other line.
"it's Hani"
Jeno smiled, "it's late already, stop working, it can wait, go home- do you want me to send you home? I know your house"
"the works can wait but I don't want it to wait besides no thank you, you don't know my house, I live alone not with my parents"
Jeno mouth formed into an 'O' and he nodded his head. Jaemin raised his eyebrows and smiled mischievously, "hello! I'm Jeno's best friend and 10 ways better than him, hope we can get along with each other!"
Hani on the other line chuckled bitterly, "I don't get along well with anyone- sorry"
Jeno clicked his tongue and smacked Jaemin's arm before rolling his eyes, "don't mind him- oh please remember about the designs"
"I know"
Jeno smiled, "okay then, I want to call you because I want to hear your voice only- I will end the call now, see you tomorrow?"
"no"
"okay the day after tomorrow" He laughed when he heard her sighing once again. "okay, okay, I won't disturb you anymore, bye honey-"
