"Ack! What was that for? I just want a kiss..."
Jeno pouted when the girl smacked his arm right after he laid a kiss on her cheek. She huffed and rubbed her cheeks, "I just did my skincare!" he pouted and rolled his eyes before lying down on the bed.
Hani narrowed her eyes, "what now? Are you sulking?" He lifted his shoulders, "I don't know"
She let out a chuckle and lies down; resting her head on his wide chest which made him automatically placed his hand on top of her head. "Such a baby"
Then none of them speak anything, just quietly enjoy being in each other embrace while Jeno humming to some melodies.
Comfort silence.
After a tough day at work and an argument they got it earlier because of misunderstanding, now they're fine. Hani was tired from crying hard earlier but now not anymore, she's fine and calm in Jeno's warm embrace.
That night was a bit cold, even they were under the blankets they still could feel the coldness but gladly Jeno was there.
Must be sucks to all single people out there who doesn't have anyone to hug in the middle of the night when it's cold and you can't fall asleep.
"Honey..." Jeno softly called.
She hummed and looked up to her husband who had his gaze up to the ceiling. "Are you okay? Wrong answer only"
Hani let out a sigh and pressed her lips into thin lines.
"Yes"
Jeno tore his gaze from the ceiling and looked down to the girl, "do you want to talk about it?" his hand softly caressed her hair. "Can I?" he nodded, "of course, I told you before... you can tell me anything you want and I would be listening to you all day long"
Hani hummed. "I... I had a really worst luck these past few days" she gently grabbed Jeno's free hand and played with his fingers. "It's about dad"
Even to mutter the words 'dad' hurts so much. She couldn't believe he was her dad. She couldn't believe her dad would treat her badly.
"He came to my office a few days ago and told me about the company's money is decreasing from day to day. He told me I was being careless and he told that I'm not taking this job seriously"
Jeno furrowed his eyebrows but didn't say anything not wanting to interrupt the girl.
"He told me he will handed this company to someone else"
His eyes widened, "what?! He can't do that, this is his family's company, why would he do that?" Jeno couldn't contain himself anymore.
"That exactly what I was thinking! He didn't trust me anymore and-" she stopped in the middle of her sentence and pursed her lips together.
