Prologue-The birds (edited)

Y/n POV:
As I was playing with the wild Pokémon, My brother Midnight came back with some food. Once my other brother Zachery came back with a ton of berries, he set down all the berries he harvested for the Pokémon to eat.

After we ate, we heard 3 different Pokémon cries. The three of us look up only to be met with the 3 Legendary Birds staring down at us.
The 3 then landed, Articuno in front of me, Zapdos in front of Zachery and Moltres in front of Midnight.

Mol-"you kids are going to be trainers when you are older correct?"
Mid-"yes that's right."
Zap-"we have came to decision to follow you on your journeys when your older. If you'll let us."
Zach-"but why us? There are a lot of other trainers to choose from."
Mol-"you help injured Pokémon, befriended a lot of Pokémons and provide them with food. That's what we want our trainers to be like"

Then 3 pokeballs were given to us.

Mol-"use the pokeball. The one infront of you is the one that will assist you."

I caught Articuno, Zachery caught Zapdos and Midnight caught Moltres.

9 years later (the twins are 16 while Y/n is 14)
Today is the day my older brothers turn 16. That means that can get their starters and set on there journeys... or that's what I thought they would do.

Zachery-"hey sis."
Y/N-"why are you still here? I thought you were gonna go on your journeys?"
Midnight-"we thought about it and we agreed on waiting two more years so we can all go together. We know your shy with people so, What do you say?
Y/N-"ok!"
