This is a continuation of chapter 6, and happening the same timing as chapter 7
Zachery POV:
Z: 'no answers.'
I looked back at the box containing all the mysterious stones. I took out one rainbow one and the green one. Nothing happened until both suddenly shone for a while then back dull. I just let out a sigh and gave up.
I continued walking ahead until I saw an abandoned shaft. I walked in and made sure no one was present.
I let out Ivysaur, sparky, Pigdeotto and Zapdos. Luckily I picked some fresh berries on the way. I gave the berries to them and look towards Zapdos. I took out the box and opened it
Zachery: "Zapdos I been meaning to ask, do you have any clue on what this stones could be?"
Zapdos: "3 key stones, a venusaurite and a blastoisinite. How did you find this?"
Zachery: "in the cave not far from here. Could you tell me more about this?"
Zapdos: "very well. The rainbow stones are called key stone, held by trainers. The green one is a venusaurite, it allows venusaur to mega evolve. All Pokémon that are capable of mega evolution have their own mega stone."
Zachery: "So the blastoisinite is for blastoise?"
Zapdos: "correct"
Zachery: "when Ivysaur evolves into venusaur it could mega evolve?"
Zapdos: "in order to master mega evolution, you must have a good relationship with them. You must trust your partners. Then will you be about to handle mega evolution."
Zachery: "if both blastoise and venusaur have mega evolution, that must mean charizard has one too right?"
Zapdos: "Yes, however charizard is different."
Zachery: "How so?"
Zapdos: "charizard is capable of two mega evolution, but only one can be used at a time."
Just then two stones floated up toward me.

Zapdos: "this is a Charizardite X while the other is Charizardite Y. Take this with you. I have entrust them with you. Take care of them. Do not loss it."
