Her POV

She yawned, wiping the sleep from her eyes. Brent had returned from the bathroom around 2 am, apparently he had one to many tacos from the party that she couldn't remember.

She knew it was Scarlett's idea to attend the party. Scarlett always been the partying type, she just knew where the parties were and just went with the flow, fitting in and dancing in the crowd something Astrid sadly couldn't do.

Astrid isn't the partying type, she rather stay in watching Charmed reruns twenty-four-seven if she could, or she'll be reading books and eating food.

"We're almost there girls. The Alpha has been wanting to me you." The last sentence was directed toward Astrid but she didn't take it that way.

The drive was silent, something Scarlett couldn't stand. "Let's play some music!" She turned up the low radio and the song that was on surprised her but didn't stop her from dancing.

Astrid just watched her having fun and smiled, she enjoyed seeing such a happy look on Scarlett's face.

Brent chuckled seeing Scarlett's moves. "I'm guessing she likes this song." Astrid laughed, this song was currently her life.

"If you dance on a pole that don't make you a ho'." Usher's voice rang through the car. Scarlett was just clapping and having so much fun.

"Yeah. It's her favorite." Astrid said, grinning at Brent. "The girl loves Usher."

"Girls," Brent said, turning the volume low and making Scarlett pout slightly. "We're almost to the house. The Alpha can't wait to greet you both."

Brent made a swift turn to the left, and the trees cleared from around the car on both sides of the windows. Brent parked the car next to a large house and left after he slammed the door, and walked around to open the door for both girls.

Scarlett bring Scarlett, she held out her hand for Brent to take to help her exit the car. Brent looked at her and released a sigh.

Brent grabbed her hand and helped her get out from the car. He even held out for Astrid to help her get out of the car. But Astrid being Astrid, she politely declined his offer and helped herself get from the car.

She closed the door behind her and made her way toward Brent and Scarlett.

Daniel barely got a wink of sleep once he heard his beloved mate would be returning to him.

He finished his work early so he would only have time for her. He was surprised he finished a week's amount of work within only 10 hours. He took a break at about 5 hours to sleep - which only lasted 30 minutes and he was back at work again.

Daniel had coffee on his side and drank it until the sunrise. He was annoyed, actually more than annoyed. Astrid was suppose to be here almost 2 hours ago and was nowhere to be seen.

He knew he shouldn't have sent Brent, seeing as in his past life he was a murder. But he doubted Brent remembered that part of his dark history.

Daniel could easily know who one was in there past life, he saw it in their eyes. Eyes are windows to the soul actually.

Daniel then smelled a scent he couldn't forget, not even if he tried. He got up from his desk and ran for the door - nearly breaking it when he opened it with such great force.

Astrid stood on the opposite side of him and looked surprised. "Mate.." She whispered as did he.

He reached down and pulled her closer to his body and kissed her neck softly. "I finally found you.." He whispered to her. "You're mine."

If only that that actually happen. If it would've happen the way he planned maybe he wouldn't be on the ground after being manhandled by a small girl.

Once he reached from her she quickly grabbed his arm and flipped him on his back. Daniel was laying on the ground both shocked and confused, but nevertheless still in love with the beauty who flipped him. A 5 foot 2 girl flipped a 6 foot 4 Alpha and didn't break a sweat doing so.

"Mate or not," She said, not meeting his eyes. "Don't touch me like you know me."

Scarlett wanted to punch Astrid, a hot guy who's her mate and Alpha and the first thing she does is flip the guy.

Daniel got up from the floor and smirked at the silent Astrid and fuming Scarlett. "Pleasure to meet you both, I'm Alpha Daniel."

"Astrid.." Astrid said, not really caring. Scarlett elbowed Astrid in her stomach, and mouthed 'Be nice' to her.

"I'm Scarlett, and the pleasure is all ours Alpha. But please excuse my dear Astrid. Since the attack, she's been on edge." Scarlett said with narrowed eyes.

"It's fine." Daniel said, looking at Astrid who looked at him with fierce eyes, making him blush a bit. She was breathtakingly beautiful.

"Let me show you two to your rooms." Daniel said, and walking away hoping they would follow.
