This was awkward.

Awkward for Daniel more than anyone else. Since his parents death he taken in his younger adopted sister, his mother could not longer bare children after Daniel.

His younger sister was thirteen years old she a newer shifter and today she became a woman. The scream that woke Daniel and his pack belonged to his younger sister.

She just started her period. Once Daniel saw the red blood on her white bathroom tile floor and her in tears he didn't know how to react. He called the pack mother, she watched and took care of all the children and knew what to do in this case. She had five girls and another one on the way.

Lucy came fast, she lived far away from the pack house so fast was thirty minutes. Lucy shooed Daniel away even though Daniel wanted to make sure Mariah was okay. "She's fine, Alpha." Lucy assured him as she walked back in the bathroom.

Daniel heard the shower ran and he relaxed a bit. Lucy came out and got Mariah some clothes and including something Daniel rather not say.

Mariah came out, a natural glow on her Carmel skin, her hazel eyes no longer had tears as she looked up through her long eyelashes at her worried big brother. "I'm fine, Daniel. Stop worrying."

Her brother looked a way, a faint blush in his cheeks. "I'll be going now, seeing as you are alright. Barely slept since, someone decided to scream Bloody Murder."

Mariah stuck her tongue out, "Bloody murder is right, it was like someone murdered my -"

"Shh. Please sleep, Mariah. No more talk about, that. I never planned on you becoming a woman this soon. And I never planned on seeing blood on newly brought sheets!" A deep laugh rumbled from Daniel as Mariah's cheeks flushed.

"Get out!" She yelled, modified. It wasn't like she planned it either. She tried her hardest to push her brother out of the room, he wasn't fat. He went to the gym every weekend.

"Fine, fine. I'm leaving." Daniel grumbled walking out the room. As he made his way toward his room he seen Lucy. "Ah, Lucille. Thank you very much for helping me with that bloody situation without you, I just don't know what me and so many others would do. So thank you." Daniel bowed slightly, and told her she may go home.

Lucy left and Daniel returned to his chambers. Once he was comfortable in his bed and drifting to sleep he knock was heard. Daniel grumbled angrily, "Come in." As he finally was going to sleep, someone had to ruin his almost* paradise.

"S-so sorry to ruin your precious sleep Alpha." Elliot stammered. "We just got some news and I was told to inform you that the, um, the -"

"Elliot! If it involves more blood, at the moment I just don't give a damn. I dealt with enough blood today." Daniel cursed, the lack of sleep was doing this to him. He just wanted to lay down and dream of his mate, his girl. The loved the way that sounded, she is his.

"No more blood, Alpha. I ensure you that." Elliot said. It's weird hearing Alpha curse. But it sure was sexy as hell. "The new she-wolves are on their way to the pack house."

Daniel shot from his bed. Her words coming back, "Even if I were to die. I will still remember you, my love. I have the memory as do you. Seeing how you look once again will only brighten my life again. I bet you'll be just as handsome as now. I will remember you, no matter what. Even if I have to be forced. I will remember our love, how we loved, how you kissed, how you said how much you love me. I will remember you, and every moment, every hug, every kiss. I promise you."

Once hearing what Elliot said, he couldn't help but smile. "Thank you, Elliot. You may leave." Once Elliot left. Daniel's face broke out into a huge grin, and like a little kid he jumped on his bed. But with only two jumps, his bed broke.

"Dammit not again." But this is what happiness does to a guy. Well, to Daniel.
