Rachel walked into Charlee's house. She saw Harper sitting on the sofa with Esmè. She sighed. "This isn't helping you love. Come on. Come back home," she said.

Harper rolled her eyes. She shook her head. "No. Leave me alone. Why are you even here?" She asked.

Rachel smiled. "I came to talk to Charlee. We're planning a little holiday. And she's going to ask Max if she can bring Esmè."

Harper nodded and sighed. "Well I just think you should go and talk to Charlee and leave me alone. You're trying to ship me off and I don't want to anywhere," she told her.

Rachel sighed. She knew she had messed up with Harper. But she wanted her daughter to be okay.

The next morning, Harper went into school. She saw Tom and smiled. She knew that they had a connection for life. But she couldn't help but feel like he had been pushing her away lately.

Harper smiled as Charlee looked at her. "I'll meet you here later? Have a good day. And don't let anyone wind you up," she said as she hugged her and walked off.

Harper sighed. She saw Tom looking at her. He smiled and walked off. Harper didn't know why. But she felt like things were changing for them.

Harper looked up as Bolton walked towards her. "Fancy doing something tonight? There's a party and thought we could go together?" He said.

"Erm maybe. I'll have to see if I'm doing anything. But I'll let you know," Harper said as she walked off.

Bolton frowned. He knew he fancied Harper. And he wanted her. But she was making it difficult for him to get her.

Harper was sitting in the common room. She looked up as Tom walked in. He sat opposite her. "Why do I feel like you've come to tell me something I'm not wanting to hear?" She asked.

Tom laughed and sighed. "Rose. She's asked me out on a date. And i said I'd go. Nothing is going to happen with us. I just... I think it's best that we cool off."

Harper felt as though she had been stabbed. She looked at him. "O-Oh. That's... that's good! I'm glad you're trying to move on," she said.

Tom took her hand and smiled. "That doesn't mean I'll forget us. You gave me a beautiful little girl. And you're so special to me," he told her.

"But I'm not. I'm just another teenager. With Rose, you can go out with her. In public."

"Harper. It's not like that. I care about you still. I always will," Tom said.

Harper grabbed her stuff and walked off. She felt like her heart had been ripped out.

Harper was hiding in Charlee's classroom. She walked in. "What's happened?" She asked.

"T-Tom. He's moving on with Rose Kelly. He's told me I'm special to him. But that's it," she sobbed.

Charlee held her close. She knew how much her sister had been through. And she wanted Tom to not mess her about. She smiled. "It's going to be okay. I promise you," she said.

"I don't know anymore," Harper mumbled.

Charlee held her close as she sighed. But she had no idea how Harper was about to go down a dark path.
