"Aw look how cute they are all snuggled up to each other."
"I seriously think they fucked; look, Joshie's got sex hair."
"That could be bed head. Don't get me wrong I agree with you but they're still asleep so-"
"I don't think they're fucking."
"Lee, you are honestly so oblivious."
"And all of you are so oblivious to the fact that I've just heard all of that; close the fucking door and get out."
Eyes still closed, I laughed silently and curled into a ball, Oliver's arm around my waist tightening as our friends scrambled to get out of the doorway quickly and close the door behind them. From what I'd heard, it was Lee, Dan, and Max who were spying on us - very creepily might I add. Apparently they had a thing for watching us while we slept.
"Thank you," I mumbled, silently protesting the movements he made to sit up straight. All I wanted was to stay like that for just five more minutes, enjoying the warmth our bodies emitted.
Reluctantly, I turned over so that I was laying on my back with a hand on my chest, looking at Oliver sitting upright with sleepy eyes and hair sticking up at odd angles. I laughed at him, stretching out on the mattress with a stifled yawn and groan.
"'Morning," he said, voice still groggy with sleep although he'd just told off the lads and sounded relatively awake.
"Mm what time is it?" I asked, rubbing my hand over my face in exhaustion.
"I'unno," Oliver mumbled, looking at his nightstand before leaning over the mattress to grab his phone and check the time. "Around 1pm."
"We didn't sleep too late," I said, slightly surprised and impressed. We didn't fall asleep until almost 5 in the morning, and with our little antics I had expected us to sleep well after 3 in the afternoon. But we hadn't so that was actually good; no matter how much I liked sleeping, I didn't like sleeping too late.
"I'm going to go wake myself up," he said, crawling off the bed, pecking my lips before heading into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Once I heard the click I sat up and sighed, looking at my reflection in the mirror above his dresser, which was across from his bed. It was far away but close enough to where I could make out the tousled hair and light bags under my eyes. Just seeing myself made another yawn rise in my throat and I found myself getting tired again. Oliver needed to hurry up so I could get some cold water on my face before I fell back asleep.
As I sat, my thoughts began drifting as they usually did, and I found myself thinking of last night and what happened with Oliver and Jesse, suddenly feeling strange about the situation. Something was definitely wrong with Oliver; I could tell he was hiding something. But how do you bring up someone else's problems without letting them know that you were worrying about them? People like to know that someone cares, but they don't like when people worry about them, and it was hard portraying and differentiating the two when you spoke to them about it. I didn't want to ruin the relationship I had built with Oliver but I knew it was wrong to ignore the situation.
On top of all that, there was still that lingering fact that Oliver may like me more than just a regular fuck buddy; once again, I didn't know how to bring it up.
Too many things were piled on my thoughts, and when Oliver had stepped out of the bathroom I had zoned out and barely noticed his arrival to the room.
"You okay mate?" He asked, standing near the corner of the bed furthest from me and giving me a concerned look, eyebrow half raised.
Snapping out of my daze, I looked up at him and nodded quickly. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine."
"You sure?"
