Chapter 11: After

(What Macy is wearing)

Macy POV
We were walking in the woods. Rick said we needed to get as far away from Terminus as possible so that's what we're gonna do.

I was walking with Carl. His arm was around my waist. We were walking silently. Nobody was talking.

Then we heard someone scream help. We ran to where we heard the screams coming from.

There was a man on top of a rock with four walkers at the bottom.

Shelby and I took care of it. We both killed two.

The man jumped off the rock. He was dressed as a priest. When he jumped down he threw up. And it was pretty gross.

"Sorry," he said. "Thank you," he said.

"Do... do you have any food?" He asked. "We have some pecans," carl said and handed him some. "Thank you," he said to Carl.

He looked at Judith. "That's a beautiful child," he said. "Put your hands up," Rick said.

He began frisking him. He had no weapons. "No weapons?" I asked. He shook his head "the only kind of protection I need is the word of God," he said. Well he's just stupid.

"What's your name?" I asked. "Gabriel," he said.

"Do you people have a camp?" "No. Do you?" Rick asked. "I have a church," he said.

He lead us to the church; Saint Sarah's Church.

We went inside to clear it just in case.

When we finished clearing it we went outside.

"You guys twins?" Gabriel asked Shelby and I. "Yes," we said at the same time. Everybody laughed at us including Gabriel.

"Thanks for this," Carl said to him. Gabriel nodded.

That night we had a good time. Earlier that day some of the group went on a run to get se food.

I was sitting in between Carl and Shelby. My head was resting on Carl shoulder and his arm was around my waist.

"You guys a couple?" Gabriel asked. "Yep," Carl said proudly. I laughed a little.

Gabriel nodded.

"Are you tired?" Carl asked me. I nodded. "Me too," he said.

We stood up and went to a pew in one of the far corners.

We laid down. I rested my head on his chest and he put his arms around my waist.

"I love you," he whispered ad softly put his lips on mine. "I love you too," I said and we fell asleep.
