4 | cabbin in the woods

When you woke up, you remembered what happened last night between you and Levi and instant cover your face with your hands groaning.

"Be quiet," Levi groans out.

You feel your stomach drop at his voice. Looking over the bed, there he was lying in the floor with a pillow under his head on top of a quilt.

"Wh-what are you doing on the floor?," you stutter out.

"Do you not remember asking me to stay shitty girl?," he answers rolling on his back. You watch as the edge of his tattoo pokes out around neckline of his tank top.

"Yeah, but you could've left."

"I know. But I told you'd I stay."

You scramble out of the bed, offering it back to him. "Here I've slept enough! You can have your bed back.

Levi leans up on his arms looking at you in his clothes. The basketball shirts hung low on your hips and went down to your knees. His tshirt also fell off your shoulder from the worn out fabric.

Realizing he was staring at you, you quickly look back towards the bed. Levi pauses for a moment before sighing out a "pass" as he pushed up off the floor. Casually sliding past you he opens the door and exits. Leaving you alone in his room again.

Huffs of frustration came out your lips. God he was so annoying teasing you like this. What his game here? Right before giving up on sleeping, a soft knock pulls you back to the door.

You open the door a crack and see Hanji pressed against the door. "Hello my little sweet!" She pushes you back and opens the door. "These are for you!"

She shoves some new undergarments, jeans, a light grey v neck tshirt, and some new socks. "Wow, thank you Hanji," you breathe out. It's been so long since you held such clean clothes, well beside Levi's from last night.

"What size shoe are you? All see if we have any extra!"

She leaves after you tell her your shoe size, giving you some space to change. Pulling off Levi's clothes and fold them for him. You sit them on the dresser for whenever he comes back.

These clothes were so nice, you thought. The fabric was clean and didn't have any holes. After changing, you find Hanji waiting for you downstairs.

"Come on! Let me take you to wear we have our medical stuff set up!" She grabs your hand and begins pulling you out of the large cabin. Once outside, you see how lush it really is out there in the woods.

They had cleared out some trees in the area to build separate buildings. Hanji showed you the greenhouse they built using old windshield covers they found at a car shop. Then she showed a small wooden shed that held extra weapons and food.

"And this my sweet, is our baby!" She motions to a large rv. It's wheels were flat keeping the vehicle from moving anytime soon. "Come on let me show you inside!"

After being shoved inside the rv, you take not of how they cleared out most of the furniture inside to make more space. "We kept the bed for 'procedures'. These couches pull out into beds too if we have more than one person in here."

You start rummaging through the cabinets finding that they have barely any medical supplies. Nothing to sterilize, nothing for stitches, a couple bottles of painkillers, and that was pretty much it. "Hanjie, what kind of doctor were you?"

"I'm so glad you asked! I was actually a scientist and studied the biology of human mutation," she blabbed.

"So you've been taking care of everyone's medical needs here?"

"Yep! And whew was it rough sometimes!"

"Ok. So... we definitely need to go out and get more medical supplies. I have a first aid kit in bag, but we need way more if we're going to run this place. Do you know if there are any pharmacies in the area?"

"I believe there's one a few miles from here near the town."

"We need to get a group to go."

"I'll talk to Erwin about it."

"I-I'd also like to go too! I want to make sure they grab the right things."

"That's fine sweet pea! For now why don't you just check out the grounds and go mingle!"

You leave the rv and start to wonder. Most of the girls were washing vegetables in a water basin. Historia was yelling at Sasha for trying to eat the carrot in her hand.

Farther along you found Connie, Eren, and Jean reloading guns and cleaning the gunpowder off of them.

"Bro! Bro she's coming! Good morning y/n! Beautiful weather we're having!," Connie says leaning on some boxes.

Continuing your walk, you just say, "yup" as you walk by, followed by Jean and Eren cackling behind you.

You hear a loud thump followed by a cracking sound. It happens again. Carefully you peek your head around to find Levi chopping wood with a fireman's axe. The sides of his Cotten tank top were damp with sweat causing it to cling to his form. His back muscles flexed as he brought the axe back behind his head. You watched as brought it down swiftly through the wooden log, splitting it into. He yanks the axe out and flips it in his hand. What is he doing? You were about to turn around before he quickly spun around throwing the axe in your direction.

You screech again as it lands in the base of a tree only a few feet away from you.

"Caughtcha," he says with a smirk on his face.

He did not just throw an axe at you! "You maniac!," you screamed at him.

"If this weren't the end of the world I would've told you to take a picture, would've lasted longer."

"I! I- was not! I'm worried if stare at you too long, I might turn to stone!"

"Mhm. If you say so."

"You are so annoying! Do you treat everyone like this or is it just me?," you stomp.

"Don't know, don't care." He walks towards you and yanks the axe back out of the tree. "Later."

He walks past you as if nothing just happened. Picking up a rock, you swing it over your shoulder and launch it at his form, only for him to of course just take one step to the left to dodge it. God he was so irritable.
