Going through a breakup is never easy.

Faith's partner of 10 years left her and moved away with his mistress.

His mistress just so happens to be her 20 year old sister, Farrah.

She started over fresh by moving from Charlotte, North Carolina to Miami, Florida to be with her oldest sister, Fiona.

Fiona insisted that Faith should move in with her and her fiancé, Michael Beasley of the Miami Heat.

Life has been so hard this past year, but she made it with God's help.

She thought she was dying slowly when the truth came out..

That was her breaking point.

"Faith, I have some great news! You're going on a double date with Michael and myself this weekend."

Faith furrowed her eyebrows and narrowed her eyes at Fiona.

"I know I'm the best big sister. I know." She laughed and rolled her eyes playfully.

"At least let me know who the guy is." Fiona smirked and shook her head with a laugh.

"I'll give you a hint for now. He's one of Michael's teammates."

Faith tossed her pillow at Fiona and smiled as she dodged it.

"I'm gonna get you and Michael. Y'all keep trying to set me up with people, but I'm okay with being single. I'm not trying to be someone's puppet again."

Fiona sighed and sat next to her younger sister, wrapping her arm around her for a side hug.

"This guy is a complete sweetheart and I'm positive you're gonna like him." Faith nodded and smiled before giving her a real hug.

"Faith, are you ready for tomorrow?" She glanced over at Michael and nodded with a smile.

"I wonder who the mystery guy is, though. I'm pretty excited about the date." She sat her wine glass on the end table and focused on the television.

"Do you miss North Carolina?" Faith laughed and shook her head, earning a side eye from Fiona.

"Come on, I know you miss momma and daddy. Or as you say it; deddy." She playfully rolled her eyes and laughed with her.

"Where we eating tonight, baby?" Fiona turned off the television and looked at Michael.

"Cafe Prima Pasta is where I'm taking you, my queen." She smiled and kissed him passionately.

"I love you so much, Michael."

Feeling uncomfortable, Faith grabbed her wine glass and made her way back to her room.

Soon as she climbed into her bed, Fiona walked in the room and apologized repeatedly.

"Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Faith shook her head and smiled, grabbing her sister's hand gently.

"Darling, I'm fine. I don't care anymore. Go out with your man and have a great night."

Faith was getting nervous once 6:30 arrived. The date starts in exactly thirty minutes and she's so anxious.

"Faith, are you ready? He's here!" She nodded and smiled before finishing up her hair.

Fiona smiled at her and squealed as she twirled in her sleeveless, red skater dress.

"Your legs look so amazing, Faith. He's gonna fall at your feet and worship you once he sees how gorgeous you are." Faith laughed and walked out of the bathroom with her.

She finally slipped on her black pumps and they made their way downstairs.

Oh my god, my date is Hassan Whiteside!? I'm gonna kill Michael.

"Hey, guys! We're ready!" Faith exhaled and walked up to him for a quick hug.

"Hello, Hassan. It's really nice to meet you." They smiled at each other and she made a mental note to thank Michael and Fiona later on.

After hours of laughing and making jokes, Faith's phone started ringing and she excused herself from the table.

"Hello?"

"Faith, are you busy?" She rolled her eyes and scoffed, feeling anger build up in her. Her snake of an ex.

"What the hell do you want, Daniel?"

"I just want to talk to you. I really do feel bad about what I did to you. Farrah and I want to have a sit down with you."

"Like that's really gonna happen. Look, man, I have something to do. I'll talk to you later."

"Don't hang up this phone. If you value your life."

She sighed and closed her eyes in annoyance.

"Goodbye, Daniel." She hung up and immediately started crying.

He doesn't know where she is, but she knows he will find out.

"Faye, come on. The guys are-" Fiona rushed over to her and hugged her tightly.

"Come on, let's go home." She shook her head and gently pried Fiona's arms off of her body.

"You're having a good time, FiFi. I don't want to ruin it for you, so go back to your man. I'll catch a cab." She waved her off and sat on the bench near the door.

Once Fiona stepped back inside, Hassan made his way outside.

He sat down next to her and thought of what to say.

"You don't have to comfort me. I'm just gonna go home, take a bath, and curl up in bed with a book." She looked over at him with a fake smile and stood up.

He mimicked her action and walked over to his car, opening the door for her.

She furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head with a soft smile.

"You're too kind, but no. I'll take a cab. I don't mean to cause any trouble, I'm just not ready for this."

He closed the door and looked at her with sad eyes.

"Hassan, you're an incredible guy. I appreciate you for tonight. I recently got out of a turbulent relationship and I still need time to recover." He licked his lips and smiled that cute, boyish smile with a nod.

"I'm not asking you to marry me, Faith. I just want to get to know you." She laughed and shook her head quickly.

"I don't think you want to get to know me. I'm a mess." She was trying to scare him off, but it only made him want her even more.

"I'll be the judge of that." Faith laughed again and stepped closer to him.

"You ready to go home?"

She bit her lip and seductively looked up at him.

"You ready to take me home?" Hassan nodded with a smirk and opened the door for her, helping her in before getting in the driver's seat.

Boldly, she placed her hand on his thigh and leaned over to kiss his cheek.

This is about to be one crazy night..
