This is a Cobra × Kinana chapter. There will be a lemon scene here but I will mark where it starts for those people who are not dirty minded (that's not me).

Kinana P.O.V
I was watching a sitcom on the TV. Laki had made me watch it and got me hooked to it. I usually watched it when I got home from working at the guild bar.
I heard footsteps and looked behind me.
"Erik!" I gasped. "What are you doing here?"
Erik blinked his eye at me.
"How did you get in here?" I asked. "I was sure I locked the door."
A breeze ruffled my hair. I looked over to my window. It was open.
I went over to the window to close it. "What is it about dragon slayer and win-" I turned around. Erik was face-to-face with me. His arms were on either side of my waist, pinning me. "-dows?"
He raised an arm and stroked my cheek. His purple eye met my green ones.
"I was the one who called out to you that day," he said suddenly.
My breath caught in my throat. "You . . . you were?"
He nodded.
Why didn't he tell me then?
"I didn't tell you then, because they would have thought you were with me," he said. "And they would have taken you to prison, too."
Oh, yeah. I forgot that Erik could hear people's thoughts.
So don't think about him! Don't think about his spiky red hair. Or his sexy grin. Or his... No stop! I put my hands on my head.
Erik grinned. "It's nice to know that you think so highly of me."
My face burned in emarrassement.
"I really wanted to see you," he said. "Ever since Jellal got us out if prison."
"Why?"
"Because you're my friend." He smiled and stroked my hair. "And I wanted to see my friend, Cubellios. Or is it Kinana?"
"It doesn't matter." I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a large hug.
"But you're real name is Kinana right?" I nodded. "So I'll call you Kinana."
"Thank you, Erik. I missed you."
He kissed the top of my head. I shivered.
"Didn't you make any friends at Fairy Tail?" he asked.
"Yes I did!" I looked up to see his face. "I've made lots of friends there! I love Fairy Tail!"
He smiled. "That's good. I wanted to make sure you weren't lonely." He looked sad.
"Are you lonely?" I asked, concerned.
"No, not really," he replied. "I've got my teammates to keep me company."
"That's good." I set my head on his chest. I could hear his steady heartbeat. Thump thump. Thump thump. Mine was going much faster than his. "You didn't tell me you were my friend when the Magic Council came to get you because you were afraid that they would take me to jail."
"Yeah," he said. "I'm sorry if I hurt you."
"That's okay." At first I was a little hurt. But then I reassured myself that he really was my friend.
