Levy P.O.V
We were all hiding under the library table now. I was clutching the book Kagura had found and my notebook close to me.
The only thought that was going through my head was, We're dead.
The book was all about dragon mating season. It was the time when dragons were looking for their life mate, the one dragon that they would spend their life with. And this affected dragon slayers as well. And they would kill anyone who got in their way.
It also said something about marking their mates. The way they worded it, it sounded... erotic, kinda.
Levy! Stop having dirty thoughts! I warned myself. And don't even think about doing this with Gajeel!
Gajeel had been on my mind since we got to the library. Honestly, I was worried about him. He wasn't acting like his usual self. And believe me, I know what his usual self is like.
"What do we do?" Yukino asked nervously.
"If Rogue or Sting comes near us, I'll cut them to pieces," Kagura said, reassuringly.
"But Sting-sama is my boyfriend!"
"Yukino, it might be wise to stay away from Sting for a while," Lucy said.
Yukino sighed. "Okay."
"Isn't that what we all should do?" I asked.
"That's what I was going to do anyway," Mira said. She was still nervous about Laxus' change in personality.
"So that's the game plan?" Lucy asked.
We nodded. Try to stay as far as possible from the dragon slayers.
"But what if Natsu comes in my apartment?" she inquired.
"Lock your windows," Kagura answered. "I don't think dragon slayers can open locked windows."
"Wait," I said. "How do we know who's mate is which?"
"Well," Yukino said. "Sting-sama's mate is me, I think." She blushed. "Kagura is Rogue's mate." Kagura blushed. "Mira-sama is Laxus' mate." Mira whimpered. "Lucy is Natsu-san's mate." Lucy groaned. "And Levy, you're Gajeel's mate."
"M-me?!" I exclaimed.
The librarian hushed me.
"Why me?" I whispered.
"Because he likes you," Mira said, her Satan Soul aura eminatimg around her. "And you like him, don't you Levy?"
Lucy and I huddled away from the scary woman. Even Yukino and Kagura were inching away from her.
"Uh, um," I stammered. "I-I don't know if he likes me."
"But you're not denying that you like him," Lucy said slyly.
It looked like everyone was against me. "No. I guess I do like him." I sighed and quickly added. "But he doesn't like me."
They looked at me skeptically.
"He will like you by the end of this problem," Mira said.
I sighed again. That's very unlikely.

I sat down on my bed with a cheesy romance novel in my lap. I really needed this right now and some ice cream wouldn't hurt either. Strawberry ice cream.
