Back to the first day of school
The school day was going by quickly from period to period
During passing period through the halls people would whisper about Joshua and Farwa if they were really a thing
The gossip was still fresh
The bell rang and everyone was excited
One hour lunch break
Everyone ran and walked towards the cafeteria and ordered their food
They all sat in their own group tables
Laila sat on the table in the middle of Jay and Sunghoon
With the other boys around them too
"I don't remember school being this hard. My head hurts." Laila said chugging on a coffee
"I know teachers talk so much." Yeonjun added
"Where's Sana?" Jake asked noticing she wasn't around
"I don't know probably touching up her makeup or something" Laila added
Shabeela grabbed her lunch and set it on a table
Then she took out a small box of macrons from her purse and headed towards Laila
"Hey Laila, it got to late earlier. I didn't get time to give this to you. Happy first day." Shabeela said handing her the box
"Oh my gosh. You remembered" Laila said smiling
"Of course I did. How could I forget." Shabeela said smiling at Laila and walking off
All the guys eyes were layed on Shabeela
"What's up with her. Why does she not talk to people?" Jake asked Laila
"What do you mean? She just talked to me" Laila said
"No, I mean she only talks to you and Joshua." Jake said
"Yea she's always been like that. She likes to keep to herself and keep distant." Laila said
"Do you think she would go out with me?" Yeonjun said randomly
"First let her speak to you." Jay said punching his arm
Beomgyu, Jeonghan, Afeefa, and Hajra sat together on one of the tables
They were talking about there next editing session
Joshua then walked in to the cafeteria and was heading towards the lunch line
But then noticed Shabeela sitting alone
He thought this can be his only chance so he went up to her and sat next to her
"What are you doing here. People are staring." Shabeela said
"Are you scared of people?" Joshua asked
"Yea, I am" Shabeela said
"Oh look, Whys Joshua always around Shabeela" Yeonjun said
"Yea who does this guy like, he's so confusing." Sunghoon said
"What are they talking about?" Jay asked looking at Laila
"Why are looking at me. I can't hear them from here. Go sit by them and listen to their conversation." Laila said
"About what I said at the party. I was serious. I really do like you. I can't seem to get you out of my head." Joshua said
"Yea you could. I was out of your head 5 minutes after you said that at the party. When you were eating another woman's face." Shabeela said
"I was drunk. I didn't-" Joshua was cut off
"Joshua you don't need to explain yourself. we just had a summer fling. I won't tell anyone about it. Trust me no one will find out. You can go date whoever you want." Shabeela said
"I want you" Joshua said
"But I don't." Shabeela said continuing to eat her lunch
Then Sana walked up to Shabeela and Joshua and sat
"Joshua what are you doing here. Come let's go sit there with everyone else." Sana said
"You can go I'll come then" Joshua said
"No, cmon I want you to walk me there." Sana said trying to act cute
"Yea, Joshua you should go walk her there." Shabeela said holding in her laugh
Joshua rolled his eyes and walked off to the table with all his freinds
Farwa walked in and sat down with some random girls she new from her other classes
She seemed like she was doing fine
"How could she be fine. How disguisting is she" Sana said to Laila
Laila just stared at Farwa
Farwa looked towards their table and just gave them a glare
"What's the deal between you guys and Farwa? I thought you guys were inseparable." Jake asked
"It's probably something stupid. Watch by tommarow they will be besties again." Sunghoon said
"I don't know about this time." Laila said looking at Sana
Farwa walked up to the tech geek table.
"What the hell is your guys problem." Farwa said
"What?" Afeefa said
"You guys be dead all summer and come alive when I do something that was really nothing." Farwa said
"It didn't look like nothing." Beomgyu said
"Shut the hell up. I hope your blog shuts down." Farwa said walking off
A few minutes later Joshua sat down on their table.
There was an awkward silence for a minute
'Wow he's even better from close up.' Afeefa thought to herself
"Why'd you guys post that." Joshua broke the silence
"Ayy dude, you can't get mad at us. We're just doing our job." Jeonghan said
"Your job is screwed up." Joshua said
"Nuh uh. It's not like we lied. I saw what happened." Beomgyu said
"You just saw it. But it was a drunken kiss. It didn't mean anything. You just ruined everything for me." Joshua said getting angry
"Yo bro, you can't be getting mad at me for something you did." Beomgyu said
Joshua walked off in anger
"Omg I can't breathe I'm sweating" Beomgyu said
"I know that was so scary." Jeonghan said itching his head
Hajra started laughing at the two boys
"You guys were trembling. You can see the fear in your eyes. It was so funny." Hajra said
"Maby you should've talked." Beomgyu said
"Why. You guys were talking enough." Hajra said
Lunch was over and everyone went back to their classes
Getting one class done after the other until the bell rang
School was out and everyone headed out to go to the beach. Which was usually the hangout area
Some went shopping. Others went home. After an exhausting first day of school
