Reception

We went to the outdoor venue to do the first dance and the bouquet and garter toss so I could change along with everyone else since it was getting cold. Not how it's traditionally done but I want to be able to dance and not be scared to rip my dress or anything. Yelena and I occupy the dance floor and a slower and a little more romantically altered version of My My Miss American Pie starts to play, Alexei told me it was Lena's favorite song but I didn't tell her that I knew that, or that I wanted to include it in the wedding.

As soon as it starts playing her eyes shoot up locking with mine. I offer a smile as we slowly begin to sway to the melody. She smiles back mouthing the words to me. I don't think that Yelena and I have ever danced together, formally. We should do it more often. It's nice. She pulls me close pecking my lips a few times before she spins me away and then back into her embrace. As our dance comes to an end the song changes and others start to join us. I danced with a lot of people. Wanda, Nat, Kate, Alexei asked me to as well and then I also got to dance with Melina Tony and Loki. Yelena got her dancing in with her family and Wanda and Doroteya as well.

Once everyone had enough of dancing Tony brought a chair and Kate brought me my bouquet. I waited for a moment so everyone who needed to could gather behind me. I looked over my shoulder where everyone was ready so I threw the bouquet and Kate caught it but she was quick to throw it Wanda's way making me chuckle.

Now it was time for the garter toss. I sat down onto the chair and most of the men, Nat and Doroteya hyped Yelena up. She looked up at me as she crouched down bunching my dress up and lifting it so she could go under. I just offered a smirk in return as everyone kept cheering her on. The garter was quickly removed and I felt her teeth scrape against my skin as she emerged from under my dress, the garter between her teeth. Again, everyone that needed to, quickly gathered behind Lena and she tossed the garter behind her. Low and behold Natasha was the one to catch it. "I guess it's settled. Nat and Wanda are going to get married next!" I announce and laughs spread through everyone.

I go to change into the suit I have and when I came out everyone else went to change. Lena also had another suit matching mine, she didn't want to make her main one dirty.

Not long after my wife joined me. "Hello there wife" she mumbled against my neck as she hugs around my waist from behind. "Hi Mrs." I offer in return turning my head and placing a loving kiss onto my wife's lips. I'll never get tired of telling everyone and myself that Yelena's my wife now.

We had dinner and cut the cake. I fed Lena a bite. It warmed my heart that she truly looked happy. She had the widest smile I've ever seen her have. I snap out of my thoughts when I feel a hand cupping my cheek. I look up locking with Yelena's gorgeous hazel eyes. "Babe?" she asks and I quickly shake my thoughts out of my head. "Yeah?" I ask and she runs her thumb over my cheekbone a few times "You okay? You zoned out for like a full minute or something" she asks before explaining, sounding worried. I chuckle placing my hand on hers "I perfectly fine baby. I just got caught in my thoughts" I explain and her features seem to relax "What were you thinking about?" she asks "About how happy you look" I answer easily which brings a wide smile to her face.

She places a quick kiss onto my lips and we go dance more. After a few speeches everyone starts to dance more loosely and we crack open the little bar getting everyone who wants a drink, a drink. We continue dancing wildly up until around midnight.

Everyone is getting tired and the space is getting more and more quiet until a car parks in front of the venue. "Who's car is that" I ask and everyone around just shrugs "I'll go check it out, I'll be back in a sec" Yelena says seeming to recognize the car. She's about to go when I grip her wrist "You know who's car it is?" I ask and she shrugs "I'm not sure but I'll be back in a second after I've checked it out" She offers and kisses the back of my hand before pulling away and stretching her hand out to Nat who throws her a gun.

Nat had a gun this whole time? I watch as she dissapears and I'm just waiting for either Yelena to be walking back or the gun to go off or something. Since everyone is quiet I can hear Yelena and another person who's voice I don't recognize, talking. I'm about to go over there when their voices become louder but still not clear enough to understand what their saying.

Right, enough of this bullshit. I walk over as the voices become louder, they seem to be arguing Yelena repeatedly telling the person to get out of here but the other person continuing to say that she was theirs first and that Sharon was shitty and when she heard about the wedding from the team she couldn't let it happen and left Sharon for Yelena. Sharon.. Then it finally clicked.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

You have got to be kidding me. I turn the corner and see Maria arguing with my wife. Oh hell no. She could've done this another day but I sure as hell am not letting her ruin today.
