Keep it real

Part 1

I was on my way home after the party just ended and it was 10:18 pm.
My friend threw a birthday party at some sort of bar. It was pretty fun I guess.

I finally arrived on the street where I live, and I saw the bar that I used to go to with my friends when we were around 15. I wonder if anything changed....should I go in? It looks like it's open.

I walked closer to the door, and all you could hear was loud music and laughter. I open it, and there were a lot of people in there.
I quickly walked to the counter and sat down on one of the chairs. The bartender came to me and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I picked Aperol, and after 2 minutes he gave it to me.

I was looking thru the bar, to see how many things changed when I noticed
a man staring at me. He looked fancy, dressed in a black suit and all that. I stared back at him for a moment then got back to my drink and own thoughts.

After 5 or 6 minutes, someone tapped my shoulder, I looked back and saw a young guy, also dressed all fancy in a black suit. He looked straight at me and said "Boss told me he wants to play  poker with you, so could you come with me?"
I looked at him weirdly and asked "Who is your boss and who are you?" He frowned at me "I'm Jung Tae-ju." he said and then showed me the man I just stared at a few minutes ago. Well, can't say no to a rich old man, right? Especially if he looks like that, damn.

"Alright, I'll come," I said. He nodded and told me to follow him. We walked to the table that his boss was sitting at. "Sit down." the man told me. I stared at him for a few seconds and then sat down in front of him. A very nicely dressed lady came to the table and said "Hello, I'm gonna be your poker dealer for tonight, you can call me Jonghee" while smiling brightly.

The man nodded. He signals me to come a bit forword, as he also does. He gets closer to my ear and whispers
"My name is Choi Mujin, I'm glad I'm playing with you tonight Y/n.". He left me kinda shocked since I didn't remember telling him my name or his assistant...

We start the game, with small bets. He won the first and second time. The bets were getting bigger and I started panicking since I was losing a lot of money. The only thing I could think of was cheating, so that's what I did.
I won the round without being caught. I did the same for the final round and won again. I was pretty happy since I won some money, also lost some, but I got them back, so who cares.

He clapped for me and said, "Didn't think you'd be such a good cheater Y/n. You did have a good strategy."...
My face dropped... HOW DID HE KNOW?? I made it so subtle so that no one would notice. Jonghee looked confused. I took the money and said, "Well, thank you for your hard work mister, but I need to get home, kinda late for a lady to be out on the streets!" I smiled and winked. He was smirking, but I left as fast as possible without thinking about it.
What the heck was that... How did he even know, I tried my best to be subtle. I'll get home and go to sleep so this can be over already.

Alright, thanks for reading this, I'll try to write the next part as soon as possible. I have an exam tomorrow, so I'll go study now, bye!
