Y/n entered her house door. As soon as she stepped into the house, a light turns on. It was her mother, who looked like she has just woken up. "Where have you been? It's midnight, and you told me you'll be home by 10:30."
Y/n sighed and said, "I know... sorry for being so late."

Her mom was speechless... Y/n had her eye bruised and her lip cut. She looked like she didn't even know what planet she was on. "Y/n, oh my lord, what happened to you?"... Y/n was breathing heavily as she said "Mom...why are there so many bad people? You can't even walk alone at night...". Her mom helped her get to the bed and change her clothes. She treated her bruises and cuts. "Darling, don't think too much about this and go to bed, we'll deal with it tomorrow." She turned off the light and closed the door. Y/n was too tired to stay awake so she fell asleep fast.

Next morning
Y/n got up, she did her morning routine... as well as she could... and got to the kitchen. Her mom wasn't there so she got to the bedroom, she wasn't there either. She looked thru the whole house and even called for her but, she wasn't home. She got her phone and called her. *the number you called is currently not in service, please try again later, beep* over and over was heard from the phone. Y/n didn't know what to do so she just waited for her...4 hours passed and her mom didn't come home.

She called her dad even tho her parents are divorced, she called her grandma, aunt, cousin. No one knew anything about her mother. So she decided to go look for her in the usual spots she would be. Supermarkets or second-hands, that's where she usually goes to. She searched for her, a few hours. But she wasn't anywhere.

She got really worried and pissed at the same time. "Ugh, where can she possibly be?" She hesitated at first but then called the police. She told them everything, but the police told her to just wait, cause she will come back.

The girl waited for almost 2 days. Nothing happened, no sign of her mother. She printed papers with pictures of her and her mother and wrote *my mom has been missing for 2 days, if you see her please call this number xxxxxxxx*

She hung them up everywhere. She waited for a few hours and then got a call. She picked up "Hello, I saw your mom around noon today, come to xxxxx address and let's talk more". They hung up. It was kind of fishy, and dangerous at the same time. But what could she do? She had no choice.
After 40 minutes she arrived at the place, it was a big and fancy building. "Hmm... Weird." she knocked on the door and a tall man, who was probably a guard, answered.
"What do you want?" he said."I was told to come here over the phone, someone knows where my mom is" Y/n replyed. "Come in and wait," the tall man said with a neutral look.

She entered a little hall, where 4 guards were looking at her. One of them, the one who answered the door, looked at the camera in the corner of the hall, above the actual door. "Should we let her in?" he asked... "Yes" was heard in their earbuds. He nodded and opened the door. He let her get thru and she continued to walk forword with him following her. Y/n got to the lift and he said "5th floor. " She nodded and pressed the button.

The lift arrived at the 5th floor and she got off, just to see another hall full of bodyguards. She walks straight ahead and waits for someone to open what looked like the main door. When the door was opened, she took a step in without looking into the room. And when she looked straight ahead, she saw Choi Mujin. "Didn't expect to see you so soon miss Y/n." said the man. Y/n was speechless. "Yeah, me either... Where is my mom?" she asks. The man looked straight at her and said "I'm not sure, but I do know that I saw her today." Y/n was staring at him while thinking. "So are you gonna help me find her?" she asked. "Do I get anything out of it?" he asked immediately.

Of course, Mujin was the kind of man who would want something back, he's a drug lord, not a priest. "I don't have any money, nor do I have anything special to give to you. So I don't think so." Y/n said.

"I saw your mom around the port, do what you want with this information and get out of here," he said while lighting his cigarette.
The girl left, pissed off and disappointed. She got to the port that Mujin mentioned and asked around while showing a picture of her mother. One man came forword and told her that he saw her get taken by a man, but he didn't think much of it since she wasn't screaming or doing anything out of the ordinary. Y/n couldn't do more than just wait for calls and ask around.

"Mom... What the hell happened?" she asked while crying.
The next day, she got a call. She picked up and heard "Trying to find your mom, huh? Why don't you come after her? We're at xxxxx, come pick her up bitch." laughter was heard in the background and then they hung up.
She took her pocket knife and left the house. It was around 7 pm, it was getting dark, but that didn't stop her from going to save her mother. She arrived there and no one was present.

After 2 mins of looking around, she heard a gunshot. In 5 seconds, everything became black.
She woke up in a very dark place with her hand-tied and her mouth taped. She was in the back of a car. She panicked and started screaming, but very silent noises were heard because of the tape. The car suddenly stopped, you could hear the man growing and screaming in pain.

The trunk door was opened and the light came in. Y/n wanted to attack the one that opened it, but she was stopped. When she looked up, she saw Choi Mujin. He cut the tie around her arms and pulled the tape from her mouth. He took her out of there and bandaged her wounds. "The men that beat you up the night you came home from the bar, kiddnaped your mother.

They intoxicated you when you heard that shot and then beat you up." he said, Y/n couldn't even answer... She was too tired.
But she remembered her mom. "Mom... Where is mom?" she asked. "Your mom is safe, she is in the hospital, having her wounds and cuts healed," he said and she knew he wasn't lying. "Thank you... Mister," she said and he smiled a bit.
