Hey guys! This chapter isn't relevant to the story, but explains the timing and where it falls in the actual show, as well as a few other things. Feel free to skip- next part is where we get started.
This fan fic takes place a year in the future, about a month after Adrien and Marinette have started 10th grade. As for the actual story line, it stops after Season 4 Episode 3: Gang of Secretes. This means the following:
1. Marinette and Luka broke up.
2. Adrien and Kagami broke up.
3. Alya knows Marinette is Ladybug.
4. Hawkmoth knows the identities of most superheroes.
Everything from that point on hasn't happened, and (for the most part) will not happen in this fic, even though it takes place a few months after. These include:
1. Medallions. These do not exist, meaning people can get re-akumatized.
2. A fixed Peacock Miraculous. Not sure how relevant that will be yet- but it is still broken.
3. Ladybug replacing/shutting out Chat Noir. It physically hurts me when I watch that in the show, so I will definitely cry if I force myself to write about it! Doesn't fit into the fic anyway.
Also! I am the depressing age of 14. There will not be sins, please do not ask. Lmao.
Also also! I don't have a set update schedule, but everything I have already written will be put up now. This means 8,000 words! Not a lot- but pretty good for now, as this fic will be a long one.
With all of that said- one more thing. I don't have art drawn just yet, I will be doing some in the future tho. That includes one per chapter, as well as the "cover art." Right now it is from the internet, I have no claim on it.
