Numbness

You felt as if your body was severely wounded, or in easy words..sore. Despite the many attempts of yourself getting up, you rested there. Shivering, you carefully felt around where you were, yet whatever you touched only flattened out..."Is..that snow..?". You wonder, while your vision began to clear up. After seeing nothing but darkness, you met with nothing but a blanket of snow, some parts were darker than the other..but why? Lifting your head up, you inspected the area infront of you, nothing can be seen that was peculiarly odd, in fact, it was as beautiful as you remembered it. Seeing the branches filled with icicles, and little snowflakes falling down from the above, brought you into a soft smile. But your focus came back towards your first question. "Why am I laying in the snow...", once again you try and get up, you manage to do better than last time and sit up. Flinching and growling in pain, it was enough to get you on both hands and knees.

Holding your head, you then removed your hand and stared at the palm, seeing a quite thick substance, made you tense up. Blood. Not only is your memory starting to fade in, you clenched your fist, crushing the liquid in the palm of your hand. Now forcing yourself onto your feet, you used a tree for balance and got up, attempting to ignore the sharp pain that you felt after each limb was stretched out. Carefully brushing the snow off your clothing, you only continued to brush off tinted red snow, shivering not just from the coldness of Snowdin, but towards the sight of how much of a mess you were.

Something soon caught your attention, as you gaze up towards the sky. Strings were everywhere..wrapping around trees..buildings..connecting together like a yarnball. Tensing up again, your memory was now brought together once again, piecing all the evidence you gathered just by a glance around, you figured out why you were down in the dark snow. Your world was at the mercy of extinction, in the palms of destruction, you had to act fast. Now seeing where all the strings started to form a connected path, this soon became logical that it would lead towards the core, the one behind it all.

Before taking your first step to stretch out more, you're also caught with another problem. You'll just get shoved down again, you're weaker than before, and you're practically going against a skeleton with a god-like resemblence. It was only ignorance to try and face this high-powered being without strength. You should take some time to heal up..but you know any second, everything will slowly fade right infront of your vision, like how your frosty breath can be visible one moment, and gone the next. You're in a pickle, but you must act quick, the world's rate now depends on you..Y/N.
