RICK LOOKED PALE. SWEAT beaded on his forehead, and his eyes were dull and dazed as he drove toward the camp on the outskirts of Atlanta. He hadn't made the call to leave Merle behind, but it was him who handcuffed him to the roof in the first place. The dread of telling the rest of their group was getting to him, and it seemed the rest of them felt the same as they sat in silence.
