My favourite way to do this is list-making, pull out your notepad/journal and ask yourself a few questions.

ʚ♥︎ɞ whos your biggest coquette inspiration?

ʚ♥︎ɞ what kind of colours do you like to wear?

ʚ♥︎ɞ is there specific singers that inspire you, or music?

ʚ♥︎ɞ where do you draw creative inspirations from generally? (fashion is an art after all!)

ʚ♥︎ɞ what fits make you feel the best? loose, tight-fitting, lots of skin, no skin etc. NOT what other ppl think you "should" wear.

ʚ♥︎ɞ if your dream style was a movie character what would they look and act like?

ʚ♥︎ɞ list five words that describe how your dream style would make you feel?

ʚ♥︎ɞ name some textures and prints you like!

Another great way to figure out your personal style is through pinterest! Just be selective and make sure you pin things you actually enjoy and would wear.

I've also made inspo boards for hair + makeup and general vibe

I like to add pictures of hair styles and makeup I love, as well as aesthetic pictures with colours I think would go well with the looks, or that encompass the feel I'm going for. these help me a lot.

shoplook is another great place to test out outfit combos and make moodboards without actually having to spend any money
