I literally love when girls post their routines on coquette tumblr or coquette tiktok so I thought I'd share mine here.
I should start off by saying tht I have a lot of fine mostly straight hair thts damaged from bleaching it lots when I was blonde, and occasional heat styling.
my routine goes as follows...
✰ first I like to use the UpFront cosmetics kind shampoo bar nd I wash my hair around 2-3 times a week.
✰ follow up w the shea moisture black castor oil masque or protein masque, I leave tht on for an hour.
✰ after I rinse off my masque I use the shea moisture daily coconut conditioner.
✰ usually, my hair is good after this but if it's feeling kind of dry at the ends I use a tiiiiiiny bit of the shea moisture black castor oil leave-in. since I want my hair to be super soft when I do the next step.
✰ to style my hair I use velcro rollers to either flip my hair outwards 60s style or inwards for a sleek look. I like to part my hair when it's wet but wait till it's almost 90% dry to put in the rollers and spray lightly with rose water to set them. I have a lot of hair so it takes a while to dry, so normally I just sleep with these in.
✰ to further maintain my hairs health I get it trimmed every few months and I use the aphogee two-step protein treatment monthly (though unless ur hair has been bleached 6+ times I don't think this is super necessary and opting for something like olaplex would be better)
this is my hair before starting this routine:
and here it is 7 months later (so three and a half inches of growth) after a short bobcut and the routine mentioned above:
neither picture is styled <3
