| Strawberries
dipped in blood |
SHE SAT IN HER CHAIR WATCHING
droplets of the water fall onto the window, it was
a rainy day. Victoria Kingsley had a love and hate for the rain. She loved how the sound of the rain calmed her, she hated how it'd come at a wrong time. But good things was it washed away the
blood that was once on her suit when she killed.A sigh falls from her smooth clear lips, with
her pencil she sets it down on the green notebook she was writing in. It was another boring day in
the town, Victoria Kingsley had nothing planned. Her mother was working, she worked as a
nurse. She'd be out past ten, doesn't come
home until eleven or twelve. Victoria doesn't
mind though, it gave her time to herself and her mother was getting a lot of money that kept the
roof over their heads along with the food they eat.The brunette stood up from the chair in her
room. Today she chose not to go to school. It
was a Friday and she wasn't feeling very up
to going. So, she made up a story to her mother
saying she has a 'stomach bug'. Her mother believed the false story as always and allowed
her to stay home. Fridays to some would be a
very special— important day. Because it's the
last day of school, the weekend around the corner. Victoria didn't very care about it. It's not like the weekends will last forever. The days end quickly.Out of the corner of her eye, she could see
the black spandex custom hanging on a hanger
near her closet. She had just washed it after killing someone. Walking towards the thing she picks
it up and inspected it. Putting it up where it's kept
out of sight from her mother she goes downstairs.Downstairs in the kitchen she took out a bag
of strawberries, setting them in a big bowl she
took a seat on top of the counter munching on
the strawberries. And as if a light switch went
off in the girls head, a sick grin eating away on
her face she rushed back into her room seeing
the jar that contained the blood that belonged
to one of her victims, she grabbed it and rushed back down to the kitchen. Dipping one of the red
strawberries into the jar, she takes a bite from it.With a 'hum' of complete satisfaction she
goes to take another bite from the strawberries covered In blood only to pause when the phone rings. It was safe to say the girl was becoming annoyed and mad. Setting the strawberry down huffing she made her way towards the ringing telephone. "Whoever this is better have a good reason why they're calling." She sneered out."Someone's angry," a voice that sounded dark
and melic that sent chills down anyone's spine
said. It came out so plain, so emotionless, didn't
know if it was human or not. But it was familiar."As I should, I was just in the middle of something." Victoria snapped at the unknown person on the phone. Not caring who it was.
The unknown person on the other side sniggered.
"What was it you were doing before I called?"
Victoria didn't feel goosebumps form on her arms, she couldn't point of the voice but it felt familiar."Wouldn't you love to know." She goes
back over towards the counter phone in hand
the other taking the strawberry and dipping it
into the blood before plopping it into her mouth."That's why I asked." The voice said, she could
feel the unknown person was becoming annoyed.
Shrugging, it's not like she gave too damns."Dipping my strawberries in blood of those I've slaughtered."
She told the unknown person like it wasn't a
big deal. Munching on the strawberries it got
silent, rolling her eyes. "Hello, you still there?""You had me there for a second. But, really
what were you doing?" The creepy voice asked again. With a tightening grip on the telephone,
the brunette rolled her neck to the side. She was
getting upset and upset wasn't something good."You calling me a liar? Listen I have no reason
to lie, when I say something I mean it. Not too
long I just killed two people a couple streets from
my house. And I'm dipping my strawberries into
their blood." She told the stranger on the phone.Silence, nothing but silence. Only thing that
could be heard was the black ticking clock on
the wall above Victoria Kingsley's head. The
brunette was close to snapping on the person. The unknown person didn't know what to say,
and a person right beside them listening to the whole conversation was also shocked from the
girls confirmation, both the two shared a look. This was big news to the two unknown people.
"I'm very close to hanging up. Better say 'somethin." Victoria's voice brought the two
from out of the shocked state they were in."Let's— let's play a game." Victoria bites back
a smile, so this person was also like her? A killer."Oo, I love playing games, what kind of game
are we talking about here?" Victoria asked. The unknown person had to hide their shock.
This girl was something else, looking over
towards the person beside them the person grins almost sadistically. When they've killed, their victims were never into their games— mostly they hung up or got the questions wrong in the game. But this girl, this girl that admitted she killed
two people, this girl who admitted she killed
with no hint of any emotion. This girl who didn't hang up yet on them, this girl who admitted she loved games. Made them question everything. "You'll know soon, but first I have to ask. Do
you love scary movies?" The voice asked her. With a tap of her manicure nails, she couldn't
contain the excitement building inside of her."The fact that I ask my victims this before I
slice their throats." Pausing. "Scary movies are
my life line." She gently told the unknown person.
"Let's began——". "I'm going to win."
