The day was young. Chloe had woken up in her bed as tired as she could ever be. Glancing at her alarm clock, she saw that it was almost already 6 am. Panicked, she rushed over to her bathroom angry that she slept through her alarm.

"Oh my gosh," she groaned to herself as she quickly entered the shower.

Finally, when she finished showering, she hurried to put on her clothes hoping she'd have enough time to do her long morning skincare routine. She rushed to get everything ready in time until she heard her father yell from downstairs.

"Chloe!" he yelled in a rush, "The limo is already here to pick you up!"

"Wait!" Chloe said, trying to hurry up the last of her makeup, "I'll be there! Just hold on!"

Chloe glanced at herself in the mirror. Her hair wasn't put up in her usual ponytail yet, and she didn't have time to put on her eyeshadow. She panicked for a moment, stopped to think of what to do, and then finally grabbed a brush and began brushing her hair that she couldn't even straighten in time. After that, she grabbed her small yellow backpack and ran out of her room to the front of her father's hotel.

"Thank goodness," her father sighed, "The limo was threatening to leave in a moment."

"Gosh, whatever dad. Now I'm gonna look ugly today so thanks for that," she sighed.

"You always look gorgeous sweetie," his dad smiled at her. She didn't know how to take the compliment -- as she never did receive them that often and just left.

The entire limo ride, Chloe found herself obsessing over the phone about how terrible she looked. Thankfully, she still put on her eyelashes and lipgloss. But aside from that, she was still lacking her infamous eyeshadow, eyeliner, pink lipstick, and even her favorite middle ponytail she always loved to do with her hair. Her nearly frazzled hair rested on her shoulders calmly. She leaned back into her comfortable seat and anxiously waited for her to attack the day. Once the limo stopped, she waited inside the car looking at everyone else looking like how they always did. Everyone except Adrien already didn't like her. Chloe, of course, was used to that and was fine with it, but she couldn't bear to let them see her like that.

"Madamoiselle!" the limo driver demanded, "You must leave this immediately. I have another appointment."

Chloe sulked into her seat, then looked over at the man.

"Could...you maybe drive me back home?" she pleaded, "I don't feel like going to school today."

"I don't care if you go to school or not, but I simply don't have enough time to drive you back."

Furious, Chloe opened the car quickly and slammed the door behind her.

"Fine!" she said, with a small croak in her throat, "I'll make sure my daddy hears about this!"

"Of course, your majesty. Like you always do," the driver snickered sarcastically before heading out.

Chloe was left on the front steps of the school, wishing she had worn a hoodie today to cover how she looked. Keeping her eyes on the ground, she hoped no one would notice her. Luckily for her, she quickly realized that if she didn't talk to others --- no one made the effort to talk to her. From the corner of her eye, she saw Sabrina glance at her.

"Oh no," Chloe thought to herself, "She especially can't see me like this."

Still, in her heart, Chloe liked the idea that she would have to run away from Sabrina. It made her feel like she at least would be wanted by someone. After a short while passed, Chloe looked back to find Sabrina --- but she was nowhere to be seen.
