Seraphina's POV
"Well you see...I-I get this weird feeling around John" looking up to them nervously I saw them all listening with great interest, "What type of feeling Seraphina?" Remi asked, from her kneeling position on the floor she leaned forward towards me, "Is it like your heart races, you get flustered by simple actions he does" I looked down embarrassed.
"Y-ya"
"Seraphina..." Elaine was smiling, so was Evie, both moved to me and hugged me while Remi joined in.
"You're in love with John Seraphina" all of them said in unison.
Love?
"This is what it feels like? Everytime I look at him I can not help but feel happy and safe with him"
"You are lucky Seraphina...not everyone finds their match so young...or that's what my mother tells me" came Remi's cheerful voice.
"You need to tell him how you feel Seraphina" I was instantly pulling away from them, what if I tell him and it becomes awkward between us, I don't want to lose my best friend.
"But what if he doesn't feel the same?"
"Seraphina, he may not have noticed it himself, he confessed to you the day we all came over to see you two" wait what? What did he say again?
"I would like nothing more than to throw you out of MY house, but Sera would not be too happy with that.".
"You dug up my past Arlo, I had tried SO HARD to change myself, it may have been me running from my problems but I was under control"
"I lost my way and betrayed the one person I should have never abandoned, I left Sera to suffer, I hurt her in ways I will never forget" He looked at me with sad tear filled eyes.
"I see her hurt and angry face at night, I wake up trembling Arlo, so a simple apology from you will not suffice what you caused, I may of been wrong....but you unleashed me on the school"
With John's rant over he proceeded to look over everyone and call Shadow as he made his way out of the living room towards his bedroom.
Remi and Elaine were right, without thinking about it, anyone would have clearly missed the message that laid between the lines. He had confessed without knowing it, for such a street smart man who can read people better than anyone I know is dense.
"I'll tell him"
Seraphina to the headmaster's office, Seraphina to the Headmaster's office
The sudden sound of the intercom calling me to Headmaster Vaughn's office, slightly confused, I moved to leave the room immediately and make my way to the Headmaster's office.
Headmaster Vaughn
Why would she want to call me now after everything that has happened to her daughter? Recovering from my shock I proceed to answer the call.
"Good Morning Miss. Dreyfus, I was unaware you would be reaching out to me today"
"That is my fault Mr.Vaughn, I have been unable to reach Seraphina I want her brought to your office so I may speak to her"
Seraphina was probably avoiding her mother, with John's father I can clearly understand that she would want to have as little contact with her parents as possible. I am sorry Seraphina my hands are tied but I can make it easier on you.
"Of course Miss. Dreyfus, please excuse me, my intercom function is not functioning properly so I must go use the one outside my office."
"No Problem Mr.Vaughn"
