Chapter 11
Suspicion
"Hanji, it's so early in the morning. Why are you here?" I asked Han when I opened the door and see him standing and panting.
"Can you come with me?" He asked, his voice came out soft and he sounds like he's pleading. I got confused so much that it took away my drowsiness.
"What? Why?"
"I'm just curious about something. You need to come with me so I will not be too hard to myself thinking I was hallucinating." Han sounded desperate this time.
I looked at him for a few seconds before nodding and going with him. We quickly but quietly walked through the long hallways acting normal for the cctv watchers won't notice something suspicious to us.
I looked at Han and he has this look on his face wherein he's like thinking of something deep. I also noticed his gulping multiple times now and he keeps fiddling with his fingers.
I
held his hand and he looked at me. "Are you okay, Hanji?" I asked him, genuinely concerned.
He slowly nodded but his eyes says otherwise. I know he's not really okay and there's something bothering him but I don't wanna push it. If he wanted to say it to me, he will so I will wait. I'm not going to force him to say what's in his mind lately and what's bothering him.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"It's gonna be somewhere where no one would see us." He answered making me raise an eyebrow.
"Why? Is there something going on?" I asked again, this time my voice came out really convincing for him to at least give me a clue.
We stopped walking and he pulled me into a corner and faced me. "I don't know what exactly is going on with this place but one thing's for sure, there is something wrong here." He said, in a panic tone.
