Chapter 33
Deal
"Everything can turn out to be more complicated if feelings are involved." Sukjae turn around to face Pia. A smirk crept on the side of his lips as he drank the liquid from the glass in his hand.
"I didn't come here only to get insulted by you, Sukjae." Pia spat as if it was a disgusting word. "I will have to propose a deal."
Sukjae tilted his head and took a step closer towards the young desperate lady. "A deal?" He scoffed. "Did you really think I'll come to you after what your father did to me?"
"That was my father! I don't have anything to do with it." Pia looked away and chewed on her lower lip.
Sukjae's sarcastic laugh echoed through the four corners of the room. Pia watched in annoyance as she impatiently wait for him to quiet down and give her a serious conversation.
"He was the one who put me into sleep."Sukjae spoke with a cold voice. "He said he'll try curing my disease so being the desperate boy I was, I agreed. Little did I know, he tried so many experiments to my body instead of helping me."
Sukjae clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Crazy sick bastard."
That's when Pia snapped. "Don't say that to my father!" She pointed at him. "You should be thankful because he's the reason why you're still alive!"
Sukjae grabbed the lady's jaw and harshly grip on it. "I'll only say thanks to your father if he's already six feet deep underground. You don't know how I felt when I first opened my eyes after such a long time. I felt like my body's not mine anymore and that's all because of his craziness! You know what, I'll kill him if I could."
"Tell your father I'll salute him in his grave." Sukjae spat and let go of the lady.
"Sukjae!" Pia fell down on her knees and begged. "Sukjae please! I'll do anything. Listen to me first and come think of it!"
