When I was in second grade, I started piano lessons. I liked being able to play, the practicing; however, I loathed. When I got to fourth grade, my parents stopped making me go. I wish they hadn't.

"Where is Claire?" Bella whispered after noticing I'd left the room.
"Claire! Come in here with us!"
Why? So you can all take turns playing the piano and singing, having a great time while I watch from the couch?
"I'm coming, Zoe." I would try to take piano up again, but I can't read sheet music. I know the basics like the spaces are F A C E and the lines are E G B D F, but when you put in chords and pedals, not to mention the notes below the regular staff that don't have a line through the circle indicating that it is a C, I'm more lost than Alice was after falling down the rabbit hole. Then, the lovely piano people added the freaking bass staff. You know, the one that looks like a deformed one of these ):
And almost all of my friends can play at least one song. If badly plucking out part of Heart and Soul counts, I am among those friends... Sadly, it doesn't.
These people also love going outside to play hide-and-go-seek at nine o'clock under the pitch black night sky. Why can't we watch movies, obsess over foreign boybands, and play just dance while talking about life? That's what we used to do. Now, I'm always the one to fall asleep first. I don't like these annual slumber parties as much as I used to. They are my friends, and I do love them, sometimes there's just no room for me. I get lost in the shuffle.
"Claire, how's Tyler doing?" Kara asked. She thinks my twin brother Tyler is the most attractive man alive. She's wrong. He's not ugly, its just that Adam Levine is more attractive.
"He's doing well, I guess. He needs to grow up and be less disgusting before any of you try and flirt or whatever Kara does to guys." They laughed at that. I love my brother, he's my best friend. I don't want to lose him to any of my friends and I don't want to lose any of my friends because my brother broke their heart.
"I think he's perfect." Kara sighed. She likes all the boys.
"Guys, my mom said we need to be quiet and get ready for bed. We don't have to sleep, but well... you know the drill." Jane was the hostess of tonight's festivities, she's my favorite in our group.

"I'm home!" I called, to a seemingly empty house. I closed the front door and locked it back before heading upstairs to my room.
"Claire, is that you?"
"No, Tyler, it's Beyonce."
"Whatever. Mom and Dad are with Joey at his soccer game."
"Aww, those are the cutest games! I was hoping I made it home in time to go."
"He's six. There'll be more."
"Still. Wait, why did you stay home?"
"I have the stomach flu." He said, in a no-big-deal sort of way.
"EW! I'm breathing in your germs, gross!" I ran to the bathroom to take a shower. Luckily, I had my own inside my bedroom. I still disinfected everything before getting in.
"Flashing lights and we

Hello lovelies!
I'm trying my first story, on this account at least, and would love to thank you for reading this! I don't mind getting votes or comments, but I won't ask for any either. If you liked this, that means a lot, and if you didn't, that's okay too. I'm just a girl trying to write a story, and I'm quite terrible with authors notes...
XOXO,gossip girl.
