"So, what? Everybody is gonna find out at the gender reveal party? The ones that don't already know?"
"Exactly."
"So, my parents, Brandon, Eliza, Mariana, Evan, Cory, my friends, and your friends?"
"Yes."
"I don't care what they say."
"Neither do I."
Callie was in a maroon top, black maternity leggings, and white converse.
"Absolutely gorgeous, baby."
She smiled.
"My Dad and other Sister don't know either."
"Jeez. We have a huge family."
"And that's not even the final headcount. We still have our friends."
"A lot of people."
"Jude is gonna know the gender, so he can set up the paint guns."
"Mm-hmm."
"And the water guns are black, so you can't see the paint inside of them."
"Nice thinking."
"Mm-hmm. It'd be too easy then."
We left.
I drove us to Dr. Marcel's practice's building.
I pulled into the parking lot.
I pulled into a parking spot.
We got out of my car.
We headed into the building.
Callie signed "Callie Adams Foster" in cursive.
We sat down.
She slid her head on my shoulder.
I stroked Callie's hair, kissing her head.
15 minutes later
"Adams Foster?" A nurse called.
Callie got up.
She followed the nurse back.
She took Callie's height, weight, and blood pressure.
"Looking good, Miss. Adams Foster. You are only 110 pounds."
She giggled.
The nurse led us to exam room four.
"He'll be in here shortly."
"Okay."
She walked out.
10 minutes later
Dr. Marcel walked in.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
