Ronnie- ( inhales deeply wringing her hands together while waiting for them to show up)

Daryl- you didn't have to agree to do this Ronnie ( watching her pace)

Ronnie- I know ( chewing on her bottom lip) I know.

Bourbon- they're here ( looks over his shoulder at them from his spot at the window with Leo)

Ronnie-( swallows but turns towards the window watching as she and Michael exit the front of the truck, Gage and Dandi jump out of the back. clearing her throat she turns away and moves towards the bar area opening the fridge and grabbing out the container of tea and pours herself a glass of it as the door opens)

Bonnie- clear the room please ( clears her throat and rubs her arm thats around her stomach)

Bourbon- ( nods) alright boys lets go ( clears his throat and looks to Damon who has his back towards the room leaning over a tumbler of alcohol) you coming to man?

Damon- ( straightens up picking his tumbler up and finishing it off) nah.

Bourbon- alright ( slaps his hand on his back before walking out)

Ronnie- ( doesn't know how to break the tension in the room)

Layla- ( taking in Daryl and then Bonnie but her eyes slide to her daughter and her hard expression softens a bit) can we sit.. and talk?

Ronnie- ( nods pushing off the counter and walks to one of the booths at the back of the room  and stops watching her slide in before sliding in on the other side. the others sit at the other end of the room with Jacob offering to get them a drink. what surprises her is Daryl begins talking to Michael and Gage)

Layla- ( licks her bottom lip and swallows shifting putting her elbows on the table her fingers folded together) I never should have said the things I said to you that day, it was wrong and you didn't deserve it.

Ronnie- ( looking at her silently listening)

Layla- I was 16 when I had you, I was on my own I couldn't go to my parents for help. Because I made the decision to leave. I uh I met your father soon after leaving my home.

Ronnie- why did you leave?

Layla- I was reckless, took everything they done for me for granted. I felt that they were trying to buy my love but keep me chained to the house I couldn't do anything or go anywhere without being interrogated. I never was one to go out and get into mischief then ( raises her eyebrows and sighs) I never realized that what they were doing was only them trying to protect me from the dangers of the world.

Ronnie-( begins picking at her ring her head bowed listening)

Layla- I should have done more for you, I should have tried to be better for you. and I am so sorry that I couldn't.
