Happy New Year! Here's my first chapter of 2022, which is really sad cause I've been working on this chapter since I posted the last one. Sorry it took so long, but here it is.

well, sometimes i go
out by myself

and i look across the water
and i think of all the things,
what you're doin'

and in my head,
i paint a picture

Axl held a towel, wiping at the sweat that clung to his forehead and neck and watching two tall scantily clad brunette women drag a drunk Steven off somewhere.

Slash sat on a stool, silently sipping on his JD as he watched Duff drunkenly stumble off with a girl, a big dumb smile on his face.

Izzy immediately left after the show. He didn't even look any of his friends in the eye.

He was gonna continue this streak until Duff came to him. He wasn't gonna be the first to give in.

Never.

Axl was staring after Duff in disdain until the tall blonde disappeared out the back door with the girl that was clinging to him.

Seething in anger, he turned back to Slash, only to see three girls standing around him, playing in his hair and flirting with him.

He rolled his eyes and stalked over to Slash, who was cluelessly staring up at the women.

"Fuck off." Axl snapped at the girls.

They all looked at him, but only one person was smiling.

One of the women scoffed, turning back to Slash, who was now giving Axl his undivided attention.

Axl grabbed Slash's face as gently as he could and smashed their lips together.

The three women's eyes widened as Slash immediately kissed back, pulling Axl closer by his hips and leaning down to deepen the kiss.

The girls took a hint, if the sounds of their heels clicking away told Axl anything.

When they pulled apart, Slash smiled at him.

Axl rolled his eyes. "Lay off the drink. You don't even taste the same."

Slash rolled his eyes this time. "Fuck off. What'd you need anyway?"

Axl sighed, balancing himself by laying his palms down on Slash's thighs. "We need to find a way to get Duff and Iz in the same room so they can hash this shit out. Even even if it ends in fists flying."

"No," Slash immediately objected. "No fighting. We just need them to talk it out like functioning adults. All this sleeping with other people and ignoring each other isn't gonna help at all."

Axl pouted. "No fights?"

Slash laughed, bringing a hand up to gently hold his redhead's chin. "Absolutely no fighting."
