My Dream

A scream. Bright lights. A man. A man making sound. I am making sound too, and my eyes feel wet. There is so much noise. I just want to sleep. I close my eyes, and I see blackness. It is scary, but better than the scary man. I have no idea what is going on, but I know that the scary man is for me, and the woman who is making a face is also for me. Somehow, with that, I am more at peace. So I close my eyes, and lose myself in the scary blackness that I see.

Now I am awake. I see the ceiling. I am moving. Moving along a hard, cold surface. It is cold because someone’s shoes behind me are making noise. I think it is “my man”. The scary man from the hospital. I think he is mine, because he does what ever I want, if I cry. He follows me everywhere, too. The problem with my man is that he makes too many loud sounds. He can be strange sometimes. But there is now a bony, scarier woman leaning into my carriage. I am frightened.
