Dragon land

Chapter 15

Ashwoods POV
As Ashwood was walking down the stairs with Violet when he noticed that Mary and Skylark were walking out of the war room and asked "what are you two up to in the war room?" Mary and Skylark looked at each other and laughed. Then said "ohhhh we were having some girls talk is all if you must know." Just then a female dragon comes running in yelling " your majesty my egg is missing and I have looked all over for it!" Mary and Skylark rush up to her and ask " how long has it been missing?" The dragon sobs "it's been missing for one dragon day! I came after I looking for it everywhere I could think of!" Mary pats the dragon back and asked "what color is it?" The dragon sobs out "pink with purple spots. Why do you ask Mrs. Elven kind?" Mary says "I think I know where it is and please call me Mary I know it is safe and warm! I promise no harm will come to it! I think it's at my home in the human realm. I saw it there when I left to come here." The dragon stopped sobbing and asked "how did it get there? I never go near the portals! Thank you for your kindness and keeping it safe and warm and loved for me! I was so worried that one of those slavery owners stole it! Oh where are my manners my name is Bliss." Ash just shakes his head and says "Bliss dinner is about to be served would you like to join our family and the Sky? I might warn you it might get loud because we have twelve children we just adopted here. Eleven are dragons and one fairy my other daughter is with her grandmother and she's a fairy too." Bliss said "yes I would love to join you for dinner. May I ask why you are adopting dragons instead of your own kind? I don't mean to be rude or anything and I know you must be kind hearted enough to keep them in my opinion. I just was curious is all." Ash says "why don't we talk about this in the dining room. Little violet here has to be starving along with the other children." Violet looks up and says "daddy dew daddy dew" Ash smiles and kisses her on the head and says "yes your dew  drops are coming but you have to eat too!" After dinner was done Ashwood, Mary and skylark rounded up all of the kids "ok now that you have had a bath and you have eaten dinner. I think it's time for you to go with your mom and dad to the movie room. They have planned a movie night with you all." Skylark tells the kids. As the movie played the children started to fall asleep one by one. Mary whispered "should we all sleep in here or take them to the bedrooms Ash?" "Skylark said that we all could sleep in here tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to talk to Skylark about the problem with the shade and my mom. While you organize how we will get all the children home." Ashwood whispered back while kissing the top of her head.
