Day 3 - Land of the Waves

*Ryuu's POV*

I open my eyes and see that Naruto and Sasuke are leaning on me as the TV shined at my eyes. "Damn what time is it?" I asked and pushed Sasuke and Naruto away from me.

It still looked dark outside, but I could still see a hint of red and orange from the horizon. I stand up and stretched my arms. "Man, am I tired!"

I look at the TV and see that Inuyasha was on. It's still going on? Nah must be a re-run. I turn off the TV and go to the kitchen getting breakfast ready. I try my best to not wake up any of the guys, but I guess Naruto sniffed out the bacon.

"Hey, sleepyhead!" I said with a smile.

"I want bacon." Naruto said before he slammed his head onto the table.

I sweat dropped. "Wow, is he still asleep?"

I shrugged and then continued to cook breakfast. Around seven a.m. Naruto and Sasuke woke up.

"Okay guys time to dig in!" Right when I said that Naruto gobbled down everything.

Me and Sasuke's mouth dropped. I checked my watch. "It took you 10 seconds to finish all of that, new record."

A nock came to the door and I opened it. "Hi Sasuk-"Sakura stopped and looked up at me.

"What are you doing here, Ryuu?" She said with hearts in her eyes.

"Um, I just slept over." I said. "Need anything?"

"Yeah, we have a D rank mission today!" She said cheerfully.

I turned around to try to cover my laugh. I know Misuki and her team is taking C rank, but D rank for Naruto? I believe but Sasuke? This is so hilarious!

*Yuiko's POV*

I wake up and walk out of me and Ryuu's room. I can see Misuki and her black wolf, Midnight sleeping on the couch. Midnight was like a pillow for Misuki. I look at the clock and it's nine a.m. I smiled and then didn't at the thought of leaving this beautiful place.

 I opened the window and see a few crows flying away. Itachi, why do you need Ryuu and the team? What are you planning?

I hear Misuki grumble. I turned around and see her rubbing her eyes. I smiled. "Good morning, Misuki."

"Hey, Yuiko. Can you tell me more about you and Ryuu?" She asked.

"Well, he used to hate snakes." I sat down next to Misuki. "But, when I got bit by one, he killed it and brought me to the Hokage to take the poison out."

"Wow." Misuki said. "So, are you in the same team as Ryuu?"

"Yeah." I said and looked outside. "A leaf always have to leave a tree."

"What?" Misuki asked.

"Nothing." I stand up and closed the window.

*Ryuu's POV*

I waved goodbye to Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura as they left to their mission. Man I bet it had to do with something like taking out some weeds in a front yard or finding cats.

I walked until I reached my apartment. As I opened the door there wasn't a Misuki in sight but Nightmare Souls standing in front of me. "Hey, what's up?"

"Itachi told us to go to the Land of the Waves." Byakyo said.

"I knew Itachi was up to something." Yuiko said folding her arms.

"I'm with you on that." Michuri said putting her arm on Yuiko's shoulder. "I don't trust that emo guy."

"Well, at least he's better than the Hokage." Ren said then turns to Daisuke. "Right?"
