Day 4 & 5 - Tree Climbing

I wake up to find myself sleeping in a room with Kakashi and Ren. I sighed and looked outside. It's night. I stand up and stretched. Maybe I should look for the rest of the guys.

As I walked out of the house, I take my ear piece on and pressed the on button to turn on the walkie talkie. "Hey, Yuiko, Byakyo, have you spotted your targets?"

"Yeah, we just made a fake alliance with Zabuza." Yuiko said. "It's the guy with the big sword."

"Byakyo here, the boy with the ANBU mask hangs around Zabuza. We don't have to do fake alliance with him. So, we're just watching afar." Byakyo said. "His name is Haku."

"Good." I said. "I'll check up with you later."

I turn off my ear piece and put it away. I walked down the road leading to an almost finished bridge. Sitting on the bridge and watching the sun rising for a good morning.

"Morning Ryuu, it's a beautiful morning."

I look over my shoulder to see Kakashi. "Yeah, it is." I said. "So what training are you doing for the kids?"

"Walking up a tree with no hands, but by using Charka." Kakashi said.

I smirked. "Can I show a demonstration?"

Kakashi shrugged. I stand up and started walking back to get Ren. When I woke up Ren, Ren and I walked over to the spot where Team 7 was.

"Ryuu!" Naruto yelled.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked.

"Climbing a tree what else?" Sasuke said.

"Wow, Ryuu this emo kid has problems." Ren said still being lazy from his sleep.

"He's not emo!" Sakura yelled pointing at Ren.

I bonk Ren's head. "What she said."

"Okay, can we start now?" Kakashi said.

"Sure." I said.

Kakashi explained how Charka can help them climb the trees and when finished he looks at me.

I nodded my head and then smirked. "Let's have a race to the top."

I dash up to the top, but Kakashi beat me by a second. As I looked down I could see Naruto drop his mouth. I waved down at him with a grin on my face.

He notices me and gives me a peace sign and a big grin.

I jump off my branch and landed in front of the three. "See, it's that easy." I said with a smile.

Ren who was sleeping woke up from his nap. "Huh? What'd I miss?"

I shook my head. "How long did you stay up?"

"6 hours of sleep, why?" Ren asked.

I pat his back. "Never mind."

Then I hear something making a beeping noise in my pocket. I look back at Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke as they do their training. I grab Ren's arm and walked to the bridge.

"What's up?" I asked as I turn on my ear piece.

"Haku is moving." Byakyo said. "He's going into the forest."

"Tell Kikiyo to put one of her rose pedals on him. So it can be easier for me to track him down." I said.

"Okay." Byakyo signed off.

I turn off my ear piece and walk back to the forest. Ren followed behind. "What did Byakyo say?"

"Haku the boy in the ANBU mask is going to the forest." I said.

"Aren't Byakyo and Kikiyo are watching him?" Ren asked.

"Yes, but I want to see this boy in person." I said and hid behind a tree.

I can see Naruto and Sasuke try their best to reach the top of the tree. But, where's Sakura? Must have already been done with her training. Well I don't care about her, from Misuki's prescription she's a total stalker on Sasuke. I felt a shiver went down my spine.

I see Sasuke go to the top and then talks to Naruto a bit. He then walks away leaving Naruto to try his best at the training. Naruto takes two steps on the tree and then falls down on his butt.

He lies down on the grass looking up at the trees.

I sighed. Poor Naruto, I wish I could help. I see a girl walking over to him, long black hair and dark brown eyes. She looks down at his face. Naruto was startled and jumped up.

Something caught my eye. There was a green rose petal on her shoulder. It's Kikyo's tracker.

I turn away from them and Face palmed. "Damn, I can't believe that was Haku the boy that Byakyo and Kikiyo are looking after."

"Wait that's a boy?! I thought that was a girl!" Ren whispered.

I shove some leaves in his mouth to shut him up. He grabs his mouth and starts gagging. I glared at him. "That's what you get idiot."

I turn to Naruto and Haku. Haku gets up and picks up his basket. He faces his back at Naruto. "Oh, and by the way I'm a boy."

When he left Naruto starts banging his head onto a tree. "How." Bonk! "Can." Bonk!! "A guy." Bonk!!! "Look so much like a girl?!"

Before he could bonk his head again I stopped him with my hand. He looked clueless and looked up at me. I sighed. "If you keep bonking your head you'll be more of an idiot."

He sticks out his tongue. "Some brother you are."

I laugh and pat his head and kneeled down next to him, giving him a grin. "Dude I was kidding."

"Oh, but what'd you guys doing here?" Naruto asked.

I point at Ren. "Ren wanted to sleep next the tree he was sleeping on."

I didn't hear Ren say anything, so I jabbed my elbow onto his leg. Ren jumps up and down holding his leg.

Naruto sweat dropped. "That's it?"

"Nah, just wanted to see how you were doing." I said. "Need any help?"

Naruto stands up and gives me a serious look. "No, I want to try on my own if I want to become a Hokage!"

I stand up and pat his head with an eye closing smile. "That's the Naruto I know!"

Ren and I left him in the forest so that he could train more.

The next day everyone in Team 7, Ren and I left to the forest. As we reached the spot where we left Naruto, I saw a kunai hit the ground in front of us. I look up and smiled.

Naruto had reached the top of his tree.
