LEO

A drone dove over his head and directly in front of Leo, following him as he slid over the hood of a stationary lamborghini. Leo ignored the driver, who Leo assumed was furious from the various curses he sent.

Leo threw his hand up and sent a blast of vibrational energy that blasted the drone into pieces. He raced through Holland park, trying to find cover in the trees. If he could get the drones from tailing him he'd have a chance to escape.

People were screaming behind him, probably because of the agents that were following him. But Leo didn't look back. He was glad he was fast, that was what had managed to get him as far as he had. But he had to make it all the way to the Hammersmith Bridge without being caught.

His lungs ached, slightly straining from being used so soon after his fight from earlier. But his muscles were working like a well cogged machine.

An electric hum buzzed in the air behind him, Leo turned and saw a metal device like a collar whirred with electricity. Leo dropped and rolled, using his momentum so he quickly rose again.

"You're gonna have to try a bit harder than that." He murmured, looking back at the five agents that were still on his tail. One raised their gun to fire again.

Leo dashed to the side and called on his magic, he felt the same surge from within, as before. He threw his hands down and used a reverberation to launch himself forward. This time the reverberations were laced with golden light, something Leo had never seen happen before. But like in the field, his magic was much stronger and he underestimated how much he had used.

With a yelp, Leo was catapulted into the air, his arms flailing helplessly. Leo muttered a few obscenities he was sure his ancestors would have scolded him about. He screamed, dropping through trees and plummeted towards a tennis court where several players looked awestruck and horrified at the sight of him.

A part of him wanted to laugh at the expressions of the people, but he was a little busy screaming because he was falling to his death.

"Pardon me." He yelled down, slowing his fall with a repetitive reverberation that blasted apart the net of the court he was on. Despite it slowing him down he still hit the court hard, somehow it didn't hurt him.

Leo bolted through the exit of the tennis court and was about to exit the park onto the road when he was confronted by two agents with even more armor than the others that Leo had jumped away from.

Then just like in the fight that morning Leo's intuition took over. Magic filled his very veins, no incantation nor a spell circle. The action felt natural and correct, as if he was born for it. With a shout Leo thrust his hands towards the agents and two streams of gold energy shot across the grass and wrapped around the agents raising them up off the ground.

The men yelped and Leo followed his intuition further. He grunted as he detached the energy from his hands but keeping it on the men then made a squeezing gesture and watched in awe as both the gold magic condensed around the armored agents. Then he shot his closed fists open and the energy around both of the agents flashed brightly, shaping tendrils and curls.

Leo covered his mouth in surprise. Two four and a half meter spires of rock had spontaneously manifested around the guards in place of the gold magic, shooting up from the ground and holding the guards inside the pillar, as if they were a part of it. They wriggled in fear trying to get out of the rock.

Leo was thoroughly stunned, but he didn't have time to gawk at what he had done. The guards he had leaped from were finally gaining on him. While dashing past them, Leo made another gesture toward the spires, they crumbled to dust. They fell to the ground and stayed there, groaning in pain.
