Goosebumps

Aadhira-

I was trying to sleep when I heard some commotion coming from the hall. I enter hall silently and saw a figure who was opening the refrigerator. I thought he might be some theif. I tiptoed to the kitchen and silently pick up a pan from the kitchen platform and hit him on the his forehead.

I was again going to hit him again when he stopped me by holding my hands. And in the attempt to free my hands I fall on the ground.

When I asked him who is he he told me with arrogance that he is son of Madhuri mam. At first I didn't believe him but when he called her I get to know that he wasn't lying. So before anything more disastrous happened and he became more angry I said sorry to him.

Though he was surprised at first but didn't said anything. Actually it is my nature that when I am in wrong place I always say sorry first and it might be new to some people because girls never say sorry. Neither first nor second.
He also said sorry to me and everything was sorted atlast.

When he was leaving the house I told him not to tell about this incident to Madhuri mam to which he said okay without any expression on his face.

I may be sound rude but he is a arrogant man but is good in his own way that was my conclusion of him and I went to sleep.

Next day I woke up at 7 am did my morning work made breakfast for me and leave for the office at 9 am which was my arriving time. Then I started doing my work.

First I check if we have enough vegetables or not in the cold storage. Which vegetables and fruits do we need. I make list for all these things.

Second I check if we have any prior reservation or not and if we have then what are the needs of that person .

Next I went to the kitchen to see if we need any supplies like spices, flour etc.
I was focused on my work that I didn't saw Madhuri mam coming to the kitchen.
When one of the worker saw her than only I greet her good morning.
And I also saw her son standing behind her talking on the phone.

He still had a red mark on his head which was very prominent. Madhuri mam smiled at me and came towards me.

"So my manager has already started doing her duty" Madhuri said to me with a smile.
"Yes ma'am"
"Okay so what work you have done till now." Madhuri mam asked me.
"I have already checked the storage room, and wheather we have any reservations or not and right now I was checking the spices and all" I said smiling and showed her my file.

"good aadhira... I am impressed... though its your first time working as a manager but still you have done a great job till now" Madhuri mam said looking at the file and them me.

I was more than happy this was the appreciation which I was always looking for but my father never appreciated me for my work buf here this lady on the first day of my work is appreciating me which was more than that I have asked for.

"Thank you mam, thank you so much" I said smiling and with a watery eyes which I was able to hide from everyone standing there.

Author's pov-

When aadhira was busy in her work she didn't notice that Aadavan was also watching her with mom though he was busy on his call but he still heard her mom appreciation for aadhira, which made him shocked. Why?

Because this was the first time his mother was appreciating her secretary and her new secretary which was a very rare sight for him because when it comes to her work she becomes very strict but today she was not.

Only for a minor second he looked at Aadhira and saw her watery eyes which she hided immediately but still he noticed that. Aadavan cut his call and walked towards his mother direction.
