Y/N's P.O.V.
I hummed along the song softly as I was sitting in the jacuzzi, trying to distract myself with a book. Honestly it was just a weak try, since as I was reading the words, my thoughts were all spinning around one specific girl, who was hurt by something and I couldn't help her.
I wasn't a patient person. Like ever. But Sana was always an exception in all aspects of my life. I knew if I made her talk, I would only make things worse, but on the other hand, I was afraid that she would keep it all in and tell me to forget about it, like it was something stupid.
If you ask me, nothing can be stupid, if it makes her cry like this. So no, I was not letting this go. I wanted to know what happened.
My head jolted up from staring at the letters in the book when I heard the door creak open, revealing Sana wrapped in a towel and with a tired smile on her face.
I put down my book and stood up, pushing myself out of the water to get to her. I shivered a little, but ignored the now cold water on my body as I walked to her. "Hey." she greeted, not wanting to look me in the eyes.
"Hey." I breathed out, pushing her chin with two fingers to look at me. Her eyes immediately closed, not wanting to make eye-contact. I sighed and grabbed her hand softly, caressing her palm. "Do you want to get in baby?" I asked only to see her nod without a word. "Okay." I whispered letting go of her hand to remove the towel from around her body, throwing it on one of the chairs.
I settled down on the side, pulling her on my lap, as she tucked her head under my chin. I caressed her body under the water as we sat in total silence. I decided it was the best not to push anything and only talk if she wants to.
I knew my girlfriend and I knew that sometimes she needs me just to be next to her. I was one to always offer solutions to her problems, but I realized that my pure presence does more for her than my solutions.
"Y/N..." she started silently.
"Yes, baby?"
"I'm sorry about this whole thing..." I stopped her, lifting my head up from hers.
"No, Sana." I sighed. "Don't be sorry, just explain, please." I asked.
"It's nothing baby, it's stupid." I rolled my eyes, lifting one of my hands out of the water in annoyance.
"Stop that." "Sana...it made you cry, how could it be stupid? If something brings out strong emotions of you, happy or sad, I want to know about it." I said a bit louder this time. "Tell me, sweets...we can work it out together." I mumbled, desperate to change her current state somehow.
"It's only going to make you mad or you'll laugh at me." she said lowly.
"Baby, I won't laugh at your problems, I never did. And unless you did something to harm yourself, I won't get mad." I cupped her cheek to make her look at me. "Nothing works without honest communication, angel." I looked into her diamond-like eyes, falling deeper into those chestnut brown orbs.
"O-okay." she breathed out, her eyes locked with mine. "I..." I nodded as an encouragement, caressing her face with my thumb. "It really hurt when you said that we're not getting married or that we're not anything serious." she whispered quickly, a sigh escaping her lips after saying it out loud. I kept a straight face, nodding a bit. "Because, baby, I think and I hope we're something serious."
"Of course we are serious." I said. "We wouldn't be here if we weren't serious."
"Then why did you say it?" It was my turn now to sigh and drop my hand into the water.
