"a monster like creature? please, like i would believe that." an old man in his 50's turned off the tv, angrily grumbling about the government spreading total bullshit about another pandemic. his wife however, turn the tv back on while increasing it's volume.
"now broadcasting live on the global press conference held by colonel masamichi yaga on the information about the newly found deadly virus." the news anchor said before the scene changed to the said colonel standing on a podium.
masamichi yaga was a highly respected man. served in the military for over than 27 years and has saved the country from a terrorist attack almost twice, going as far as getting three medals from the emperor.
"we, the special operation unit of tokyo are here to confirm about the rumoured disease, heaven's rage. before we go in specific detail about the disease, i, masamichi yaga in representaion of the special operation unit wanted to apologise for the inconvenience and for hiding the truth away from the public. to answer all of your question, heaven's rage do exist and are spreading throughout the world in a fast pace," the man in his late 40's said gaining a lot of whispers from the press.
"for any details information, our scientist, shoko ieri will be stating them. miss shoko, the stage is yours," yaga said allowing a brunette woman with heavy under eyes that indicates that she hasn't slept for 3 days top.
"the virus that is currently spreading is called caelumira virus or known as the heaven's rage due to its symptoms of the infected that shows aggression and rage. this virus is not an airborne virus yet they transfer by scratches or bite marks. we currently haven't discovered as to where and why the virus first came but we have a theory it first arrives from an abandoned island where a documentary was filmed," the scientist said.
that surely caught a man's attention. kamisato rai is a 25 year old man living alone in a one story house. he wasn't a big fan of watching the news but, seeing as everyone was on panic mode like donald trump has win the election again, rai quickly turned on his tv and watches the news channel.
"damn. time to restock on food," rai said as he startes wearing his jacket, ready to go outside. the moment he stepped foot outside his comfortable house, all he could see was chaos. his neighbours running around trying to find as much food as they could collect, weapons, clothing, even toilet paper. boutta be covid-19 part 2 ig.
"hey rai! you stocked up yet?" itachi, rai's middle aged neighbour living with his wife asked. "no sir, i'm about to stock up actually," rai answered as he prepares to enter his car. "good luck man, things are getting low," itachi said before waving goodbye to the young adult driving away from his garage.
just like rai's stocking up supplies, in a different neighbourhood, several other people are doing the same thing. though some had to be persuaded badly to do such things, they wouldn't know that in the end, they might be the only one alive. yet.
