"Where's Alodia?" A girl said. "Oh God! She's just acting again." She is a blonde but her hair is lighter than Alodia's. Her bangs compliments her face. Her bitchy make up and bloody red lips contrasts her white skin. She's also an It girl. She loves to wear high heels and revealing clothes. Well, she's just Alodia's step sister. Her mother thought that it could help Alodia to have a sister but I think her mother is wrong, they always fight. We call her, Assunta Collette Franche.
"She cut her finger with a splinter." I answered coldly. I should respect her, she's two years older than us but her attitude makes me feel so pissed.
Alodia and Paige appeared on the door.
"Bitch alert!" Alodia rolled her eyes.
Assunta raises her eyebrow and said, "As if you're not."
"Let's go girls." Paige grab our hand. She doesn't want the Franche sisters to fight, it would be a World War III.
Alodia refused to leave. "Excuse me biatch! Even though I look like this, my boyfriend still loves me. What about you huh? All of your boyfriends didn't even follow the three month rule." Alodia said while putting her hands on her hips.
"What the hell did you just say?" Assunta shouted. She prepared to grab Alodia's hair when Paige stop her.
"Watch yourself Assunta. You fight Alodia, you fight us four." Paige said fiercely. She drop Assunta's hand.
"Hell I care bitches." Assunta stomp her way pass us.
Alodia's mouth cannot be shut up. "That's right biatch! Run to mommy!" She shouted and laugh hard, holding her tummy.
"You know what? Mom just found her on our doorstep, she's lying there half dead. She is too skinny with loose filthy clothes covering her body. She's taller than me that is why mom bought lots of dresses for her. I didn't even get jealous. Time goes by and she looks prettier than before. Her skin became silky, her blonde hair always have a braid." Alodia said.
She continued. "We are like true sisters. Sharing food, playing together, caring for each other. Until one night when I was still sixteen, someone entered into our room. I almost shouted for mom but she covered my mouth and said to me that it's just her friend. I'm still afraid, that guy he brought is so pale but very attractive. His eyes are covered with purple circles and black veins."
She shuddered for a moment and continued. "Assunta then sprang to him and he immediately responded her a torrid kiss. He trailed small kisses down to her neck and later on I realize that Assunta is like a Jell-O clinging to him for support. Blood dripping to the floor. I huddled myself into the blanket. All I could hear is the pleasurable moan coming out from Assunta's mouth."
She sighed. "After that, she walked towards me while putting a towel on her neck and said, 'One word to mom and he will kill you.' That is why I didn't tell anything to mom. From what I've known, that guy is a...." She hesitate for a while and continued. "....a...vampire." She look at us in despair. "That's the reason I hate her right now."
Paige and I gasped.
"What the hell! For all those years you've kept it from us?" Paige exclaimed.
"I don't want to die Paige." She shouted.
I remain silent. Lots of questions are puzzling my mind. Pale skin...pale skin...dark eyes! It keeps repeating on my mind. Vampire...a vampire. What the hell? That book, I need to read that book. Maybe it can give me some answers.
"Why so silent Izzy?" Alodia said. "Trying to figure out how to spread the gossip?"
"I'm not like you." I said plainly.
"Whatever." She said.
"It's not a gossip Alodia. It's a major problem. We need to protect Assunta." Paige said.
"Your smart mouth is so wrong Paige. We don't have those supernatural powers to defeat that vampire." Alodia said.
"Does that vampire of yours still visits Assunta?" I asked.
"Hmm...Maybe last night. I heard her moaning again." Alodia said.
"We need to call Luna. Maybe her granny can help." Paige said.
"Oh! That insane old woman. She bat me with her cane?!" Alodia shouted.
"Because your so bitchy that time." Paige said while dialing Luna's number.
"Urgh!!! I hate you Paige!" She pouted her lips.
I'm calculating some things on my mind. What if I show them the book? Will that help?
"I need to go." I said while hurriedly walking away from them.
"Meet you up at Luna's house." Paige shouted.
I didn't have the time to respond. I'm nervous. I don't know why. Maybe this is because of someone.
