Katherine held a ball at the Salvatore mansion.

Everyone was to have a date, obviously both the Salvatores wanted to go with Katherine.

And which ever one she didn't pick, would go with me.

I hoped she would choose Damon so I could attend the ball with Stefan but everyone knows Katherine's favourite is Stefan.

"Amora, I need your help" Katherine called.

"What is it, Kat?" I asked, calling her by the nickname I made for her when we first met.

"I need to pick one of the Salvatores for the ball and it's quite difficult to choose one"

"Isn't stefan your favourite? Choose him"

"You're right but I choose him for everything and soon Damon is going to notice and I won't have an affect on him anymore"

"Then pick Damon? I don't understand what's so difficult, Kat"

"You're right Sage but then what will Stefan think? I don't want him to feel hurt"

"Kat, you're already hurting both of them by being with them both. Stefan will be able to handle you choosing Damon once"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Katherine"

"Okay well since i'm going with Damon you'll be going with Stefan"

"I'll go let him know then, I hope he's not too disappointed"

I walked away from Katherine and went to Stefan's room.

I knocked on the door lightly and after about five seconds of waiting he opened the door.

"Oh hello Amora" He smiled politely.

"Hello, Stefan. I have some news and I hope you're not too disappointed by it"

"Oh... What is it?"

"Katherine has chosen to attend the ball with Damon, which means you will be going with me"

"Oh, uh that's... great. Well i'm looking forward to it"

"I know you must be disappointed but we can still have a great time, Mr Salvatore"

"I am sure we will, Miss Sutton"
