The Quintuplets

It wasn't that long ago since I escaped the White Room and That Man. Now that I'm free I could accomplish my dream, To Have A Peaceful Life. I figured the best way to do that is to go to school, and maybe make some friends. Well, that was the plan but I've managed to become the loner of the school.

"This is just sad" I said while sitting in the corner by myself.

I thought with all my experience I could make  a couple of friends just like that, but I forgot I'm bad with human interaction. It's probably from being Isolated in the White Room.

"Oh well, what can you do" I said admitting defeat.

I was getting ready to have my usual lunch meal but I could see with my peripheral vision that a girl with red hair was approaching me.

"Um, excuse but can I sit here, I have nowhere else to sit and I don't want feel alone" she Asked

"S-Sure" I said being surprised.

This is the first student that has ever talked to me since I enrolled in this high school, so naturally I would be startled.

I could see she was wearing a different uniform from ours, so that would mean she's new.

"What th-" I exclaimed

As soon as she sat down I looked at what she had on her tray, that is easily over 1000 yen. It wasn't that much but why would you waste 1000 yen just for food?

"You must be starving, right?" I asked

"Uh, yea how did you know?"

"Just a guess" I said

"Oh" she cried

I could see that she was looking at my test paper that I was going to look at.

"Is that your test score paper? Can I take a look at it?" She Asked

"Yea, sure" it wouldn't hurt for her to see, I thought

I hand over my test paper and she looked at it very intently

"Huh? You got a 50 on this test?" She asked

"Yea, I never been good at studying, so I got a pretty low score" I answered

I turn to look at her and I could see she has sparkles in her eyes.

"Wow really, me too! I have an idea!" She proposed

"What Kind?" I said, sounding unenthusiastically

This sounds like it's going to be a hassle

"It seems fate has brought us together, so we should help each other study." She declared

What kind of logic is that!

"Look to be honest I don't see myself doing better just because I'm studying with some else, also I'm sure you kind a better study partner than myself" I said while getting up to leave.

I can tell she's serious with her tone but something tells me that if I go with her a lot of trouble awaits me.

"W-Wait, are you sure, I feel like we could make a great team" she said looking sad

"I'm sorry, maybe I'll think about" I said

I said "maybe I'll think about it" because that would cause her to think that she didn't just get fully rejected.

I walk away from the school cafeteria and towards the restrooms. As I go in I hear my phone being called. I look to see who it was from but it was an unknown number, I reluctantly answered the phone.
