Chapter 23 ~ Loco

Karl's POV:

I was staring at the blank ceiling. Just staring.

I wasn't sure what to do, the plan is coming together and I'm pretty much useless. Techno isn't including me in the planning, he says that I only need to know my part. I know that's bs but it's whatever.

There's a war inside my head. Sometimes I wish that I wasn't here. Sometimes I'm so happy with everyone but we're far from Happily Ever After. I'm not sure if we'll even reach it.

Sapnap's POV:

We're going over the plan over and over again. How many times do we need to go over this? I think it's pretty straightforward.

Techno is droning on and on when he's interrupted by a loud knock at the door.

"I'm not expecting anyone," Techno frowned. He motioned for us to follow him. I was confused, we weren't walking towards the door. In fact we were walking in the exact opposite direction. Techno opened a door and Lucie and I followed him in.

I looked around in awe. It was a huge room with TV's that showcased different parts of the house, both inside and outside. I quickly noticed that it was a security room. Techno was looking around and eventually found what he was looking for. It showed the front door.

I gasped...

It was Ben and his men

"This isn't good," Techno muttered.

"Well no shit Sherlock," Lucie snapped. I cracked a smile, this girl is awesome.

Techno glared at her, "You two need to get Karl and run."

"Where? What about you?" I frantically questioned him.

"Just run. Karl is in his room," Techno instructed us. Lucie and I looked at each other before sprinting off to go find Karl.

But what they didn't see was that Karl was no longer in his room.

Karl's POV:

The knock was loud. I'm not stupid, I know it's Ben. Techno was in his ranks, of course he would know his address. I hop out of my bed. I can't wait for Sap or anyone to come find me. It would be too late. I look around the room, looking for something, anything that could help me.

I guess I could jump out of the window, I've jumped from higher before.

I run over to the window and pry it open. It was a big window which meant it was extremely heavy for me. If Sapnap was here I bet he would open it without a struggle. But he's not.

The window faced the backyard. I surveyed the yard. The fence was high and I'm sure I would be able to jump over it. You'll never know if you don't try. But before I could even attempt to escape I was grabbed and pulled back in. My shirt ripped from the sudden force.

I whipped around and saw two evil eyes staring back at me. I looked away, I didn't want to be sucked into those horrible eyes.

"Have you missed me?" Aaron said evilly, "We can't have important prisoners escaping now can we?"

All this time I thought it was Ben who knocked on the front door but it was Aaron.
