CHRIS POV

We are going home today, Rose is getting the things ready in our bags
" Let's have breakfast at the bar near the mall today," she said
"ok, but we can't stay there for a long time, I have to go home and do some work,"
"Fine, I didn't want to stay there for long, I just want to eat their food today. It tastes so good,"
The ride there was short, and there were a lot of people.
We entered in the coffee shop and sit at the table, we waited for a waiter to come and take our order, but the waiter that came was someone I didn't want to see today, Jordan, I wasn't in the mood to talk to someone like her, but I didn't want to be mean.
" Hi, my name is Jordan, I will be your waiter for today. What do you want to order?" she said and finally watched who she was talking to. She looked shocked when her eyes met mine, I tried to look not interested, but I still filled with pain when I saw her
" Hi, I will like a breakfast sandwich and some ice coffee please, and you babe? " Rose said
" Water, I just want water," I said, Jordan nodded and walked away
" she's so pretty" Rose said not knowing she was talking about my ex, even though me and Rose aren't officially dating, I think she won't be happy knowing that Jordan was the ex I talked about, when we were talking of our past relationships .

I just nodded at the statements, I didn't want to look awkward. Jordan came back 5 minutes later with our order, but she didn't look at me, I think she felt embarrassed
"Since Lilli is sick, tomorrow I will go back to the house and cook her some soup," Rose said, Jordan looked like she was about to say something but stop herself.
"ok, then I will take you there," I said, and Jordan walked away. When we finished eating, we went out of the shop, but I think Rose felt the awkward atmosphere between me and Jordan
" Did you know the waiter?" she asked
".... Yes, " I said
" You don't like her? She looks so sweet, " Rose said innocently
" Well, she isn't as sweet as you think,"
" Why?"
" it's not important, just know that she is not a good person and you..." While I was talking, someone started shouting at me angrily
" Who do you think you are coming here and make my best friend cry?" a short girl said
" Who are you talking about?" I asked
" Don't act like you don't know, Jordan is crying because of you."
" I didn't even talk to her. It's not my fault if she's crying. She should try to act more age instead of crying for something that she did."
" Who do you think you are talking like this i..."
" Emily, stop, I said I was ok," Jordan said, coming out from the shop
" No, you aren't looking at what that asshole did to you,"
" Let's go, live him alone," Jordan said, and dragged her friend Emily insade.
Rose looks shook because of what just happened
" What just happened? Why was that girl so angry? Did you do something?" Rose asked
" I didn't do nothing , they are the problem, not me,"
" So tell me why they were so angry."
" it something that happened a while ago. It should not worry you,"
" this is why we can't be in a relationship, you don't tell me nothing when I ask you something , you always give me the same answer, I always tell you everything, but you can't even tell me what job you do, don't you think it's on fair"
" Why, are you so interested in my life? If I want, i will tell you, you don't have to know everything," I said
Rose looked so angry and hut and started walking away from me
" Come on, why are you behaving like this?" I said and started to follow her
" Leave me alone," she said
" I don't want to tell you everything about my life, and you shouldn't be so mad about it,"
" and I don't want to be with someone who can't tell me nothing, so please go away."
" we aren't even dating. Why should you know about my life?" I said, and she stopped walking
" I know that for you, I don't mean nothing, but you shouldn't say that."
" Who said that you don't mean nothing? If I didn't like you, I want to be following you right now,"
" So if you like me, why can't you date me?"
" Because I don't want to be hurt again, the last time I dated someone, they cheated on me,"
"That doesn't mean I will do the same thing."
"....."
" You think I could cheat on you?"
" No, I don't mean that it's just that, I don't think I will be hable to trust you completely. That's why I want to wait a bit before dating you."
" Then, if you can't trust me, leave me alone, I don't want to waste my time," she said
" Why are you being so difficult, I'm not wasting your time. I really want to be with you, but I need time, let's go home and talk about it, please."
She sight "fine" she said and walked towards the car. We drive home and spend all the morning talking to each other, I really like her and I want to do anything to not lose her.
