You walk out of the house, making sure to lock the door behind you before unlocking the car door. You slide your seatbelt on and click the start button.

You pair your phone to the car's bluetooth and begin to play your Spotify playlist on shuffle. After carefully looking around to check your surroundings, you start to back out of the driveway and pull off to the store.

You were nodding your head to the beat and rapping to the lyrics of the song, when red and blue lights start flashing behind pulled behind you. "Ah shit, here we go again" you sigh in a slightly irritated tone. You pull over and disconnecting your phone from the car.
Two male officers walk up to the driver's side of the car. Rolling down your window you speak in a white girl voice. "Hello Officer-" I glance at his name tag before continuing "-Jefferson, what can I help you with today?"
"License and Registration" he speaks firmly with his hand relaxed on his belt.
"May I ask what you're stopping me for?" You ask lifting your right hand up to the sunglasses compartment. "Don't try to pull anything" he says firmly as he unclicks the the holster strap.
"First off; I am not going to pull anything Secondly; You requested my documents, so therefore I'm trying to retrieve them." You speak calmly with your hands up.
The other officer intervenes, clutching Jefferson's hand down."I am officer Brown, sorry about my partner here. You made an illegal left turn about two lights back."
"Thank you for explaining that, may I please get you the documents you need?" You say with your hands still up. "Yes you may, thank you" he says snatching the gun from his partners hand and holster. "What the fuck is wrong with you, dumbass? You're supposed to draw your weapon when you're in danger." He yells at his partner in a whisper clearly upset with him.
You turn back to the kind officer with your necessary documents and hand them to him. "Thank you" He says before looking at them and then handing them back to you.
"I'll let you off with a warning, use your turn signals next time kid." He says walking off with his shitty ass partner. "Thank you, a nice day." "You have a nice one yourself." He says looking back with a smile.
You then continue your way to the store a little annoyed from the incident that just occurred.
(Time skip because of idiocy+y/n pov)
I pull into the store parking lot and get out making sure to lock the doors behind me cause niggas like to steal. Upon walking up to the store door some dude walks out holding the door open for me as he leaves "Thank you".
"No need to thank me- have a nice day pretty girl" he smiles and shoots me a wink at me before walking down the street. I walk up to the counter relaxing to the sound of Jamaican music playing at medium volume.
Suddenly Mrs.Thomas comes and pulls me into a tight embrace attacking my face with millions of kisses. "N/n ya got so big, oh ma lord" she says after pulling away from the hug.
Laying her hands on my shoulders, looking down at my outfit. "Mamma T, you seen me like 3 weeks ago" I hold her wrists that are sitting near my face with a slight chuckle of her actions. "Don ya tink I know dat Gal?" She sighs pulling away.
"wha ya need n/n?" She asks before walking back behind the register. "Well I really just came for some snacks for me and the gremlins." I say walking down the chips and candy isle grabbing everything that was on the list.
"Hold this real quick, I gotta get some stuff for me" I put the stuff on the counter and grabbed the snacks and drink that I wanted. Getting back up to the counter I pull out a 20 and a 10.
I put the cash on the counter as she rolls her eyes slightly shaking her head and begins to bag the items. "You got a boyfriend yet Sugar?"
"Nah ion really have any interest in dating right now, I'm focused of getting into UA" I say looking out the window to check on my car.
"Dat school for kids wit powers in uhhhhhh-" she snaps her fingers trying to remember her train of thought. "-Japan right?" She says side eyeing me holding the bags.
"Mhm, but what's with that look" I ask chuckling a bit. "Gal ya don be worried bout dating, but ya focused on savin people huh?" She hands me the bags looking at me as if she's staring into my soul.
"Yup, plus when in a relationship- people like to break what's not completely theirs so why waste time on them" I reply grabbing all the bags in one hand. "Pumpkin listen to me, ya gotta find the right person so ya don get hurt" she sighs placing her hand on my cheek.
"I'll try Mamma T, thank you." I smile before grabbing one of the cute ass lighters off the stand. "Das ma girl, make sure to visit me more often n/n" she smiles at me before begining to wipe down the counter. "I will, byeee" I say turning around to walk out of the store.
I got back in the car, placed the bags in the passenger seat, put on my seatbelt, and connected my phone back to the Bluetooth.

Just as I start to pull off I get a call. "Gah damnit bro, it's always when the music starts playing" I huff before answering.
"Hello??"
"Yeah n/n it's Ma."
"Momma- I know your voice. What do you need?"
"Imma be home late cause work is kicking my ass, so make sure y'all eat."
"Aight Mommy, I go you."
"I just sent you like $150 on Cashapp, order some pizza or Chinese food."
"Thank youuuuu. I love you so much."
"I love- wait, are you out?"
"Um, yeah? I left to get me and everybody some snacks."
"Oh okay, I was just checking- be safe baby. I love you and get home safe."
"I will and I love you too, Bye Momma."
She hangs up without saying anything more. I turn up the music and vibe out to the song that got interrupted.
