Jellal and I sprinted down the street but we could still hear the cops cars following close behind "come, we gotta lose them" he said and changed directions jumping over someone's backyard fence. I hurried after him leaping over the fence.
"got it." I said grinning how exciting.
"HEY YOU TWO GET OF MY LAWN!!!?!" Screamed a males voice we looked up to see a man completely furious his face red looking like he might explode. I laughed and pushed Jellal who was dumbfounded and we quickly jumped over the over fence leading into someone's property
"s-sorry sir!" He called over his shoulder,
"YOU BETTER BE" the male screamed back Jellal turned to me and raised an eyebrow I shrugged and chuckled softly.
"Holy shit!" Jellal groaned and I then turned to where he was looking and in front of us was a what looked like a jack Russel.
"Shit...." I muttered the dog was fairly big just great!
"Go, go, go!" He urged grabbing a hold of my hand and running,
"good doggy" I coed as I chased behind us right on our heels. Only just making it Jellal hoisted me over the fence and as I got over I gave him a hand unfortunately the dog had scratched his leg leaving a reasonable size gash. "Oh gosh" I muttered and went over to check his wound. "Does it hurt much?" I asked worried.
"y-yeah" he groaned holding his leg hard. I had just then noticed that we had landed in a ally way leading to a road and the cop cars sirens weren't as loud anymore. I hope the others are ok..
"We gotta get you some help" I bite my lip worried and lean down more helping him to stand up,
"t-thanks" he managed to say with his lips in a line. It was obvious he was in pain but it's going to be extremely hard to get him to a hospital or if I try and get to the university... No... It's much to far I won't be able to practically carry him there.
"Jellal... I have to leave you." I say looking away from his face.
"What do you mean!!" He says shocked.
"we both know I can't carry you to the hospital. You have to stay put until I can get a car or something" I look at him and crack a small smile trying to lighten the mood. He stares in my eyes with his clouded with doubt "look I'am not going to ditch you!" I growl furrowing my eyebrows.
"ok, ok hurry up then" he laughs rustily and leans his head against the ally wall.
"I'll be back" I get up and brush myself off walking half way down the ally way. "Promise?" He says shortly, I glance over my shoulder,
"I promise you big baby!" I laugh and shake my head before picking up my pace and going into a fast jog.
~ hour later~
Realisation hit me and made my heart beat out of my chest in panic. No, no, no, no I keep repeating in my head.
It wasn't suppose to end like this.
~hour flash back~
Puffing running down the grimy street I passed a few shops nothing special then glancing behind me quickly but when I turned my face forward I suddenly crashed into blue hair. "J- Jellal????" I yell looking up dizzily.
"I am offended." Growls a girl voice I then notice it wasn't Jellal it was in fact Levy .
"oh my gosh levy!!!" I gasp and jump grabbing her in a tight hug.
"hey, hey no need to get so excited" she teases grinning.
"What ever I didn't know if you had gotten caught oh!!! Wait where's the others are they here to?" I say wide eyed.
"only Erza and grey is with me.." She sighs sadly. Poor girl I bet she's worried about Gajeel but still I was happy that the others were ok.
"Hey lucy thank god your ok!" Erza chirps i,
"you to" I smile and hug her.
"Hey lucy good to see your ok" grey says behind Erza. I nod with a smile and hug him to,
"Grey did you seriously sleep through The hole car crash??" I ask remembering "yeah....." He trails off embarrassed.
"wow heavy sleeper alright" Erza says We all laugh at how stupid it was and I then ask.
"how did you guys get away?"
"Eh it wasn't to hard cut a couple corners ran through a couple yards" Levy answers.
"it was pretty fun actually" smirks Erza.
"So have you seen Jellal?" Grey asks,
"oh crap!!" I groan face palming myself I had totally forgot about him shit I feel horrible what if his dead!!?!.
"What's wrong?" Erza asks trying to play cool but I could tell she was worried. "He got hurt from this dog while jumping a fence and I told him to wait cause I couldn't carry him to campus or a hospital!" I explain crossing my arms and leaning down worried.
"well we have to go get him!" Levy gasps,
"let's go already" Erza growls.
"where about is he?" Grey says
"Clare St. Down a ally" I reply frowning disappointed in myself.
"It's ok lucy chan don't worry to much we'll find him and he'll be ok." Levy says trying to comfort me
"o-ok lets quickly get him before I do something rash." I sigh.
Erza and Grey had already left and started jogging down the street. We started running to and tried to catch up but suddenly as we turned another corner Erza looked at me white as a ghost her eyes wide and I could tell something had happened.
She suddenly pushed us down with a lot of force making up land on the side of a big garbage bin.
Rubbish went everywhere "what th~" Levy started but I threw my hand over her mouth and shook my head no slowly. I took my hand of her mouth after she got what I meant I knew what had happened they must have ran into police. Oh gosh..
~ back to the present time~
My heart sank and i held my head in my hands worried down to the bone. Levy and I had been able to escape running for our lives down to Clare st to get to Jellal it turned out that he was thirsty and couldn't wait anymore for me so he actually had hoped up and went to the pub across the road. He had meet a friend called Loke and they sat together waiting for us. As we reached them Loke's face lit up as he pulled down his shades slightly to show his eyes.
"Ah.... Lucy is it? And levy, I've heard so much about you!" He said in a deep voice that I found very very strange but none of that mattered..
"Erza and Grey got caught by the police!" I shout totally ignoring Loke and his stupid and terrible attempts to flirt.
"What!!!" Jellal shouts shocked spitting out some of his drink that was in his mouth.
