Origins PT 4

1st person POV
Location: Mid town queens

My dad parks the car a block or two away from a small deli, my dad turns to me

Dad: do you want me to go?

Y/n: nah it's fine, just give me the list and I'll get it for us

My dad Hands me the list and I exit the car

Y/n: see you in a minute

Dad: wait before you go, come in for a minute

I hop back into the car and turn to my dad

Y/n: what's up

Dad: listen, I know you've been having a bit of a rough time lately with us moving and all but I just wanted to thank you for being strong with all of it. I wouldn't have been able to do this with out you, I know you didn't rob that man but do remember one thing.

Y/n: what's that?

Dad: when you can do the things no one can and the bad things happen, they happen because you did nothing. And also. With great power, comes great responsibility

Y/n: thanks for that dad

I give my dad a hug and exit the car

Y/n: I'll be back soon

I begin to walk up the block looking for the small deli.

(10 minute time skip)

I reach the deli and head inside. As I walk in an employee greats me.

Employee: good evening sir, I'll be right with you

Y/n: okay. No problem

I grab a basket and begin to walk around the store, I take out the list and begin to grab the things I need, after a few minutes I make it to the register.

Employee: is that everything sir?

Y/n: yeah it seems so

The employee begins to scan the items. After two minutes another man with long blonde hair walks into the store. The employee finishes scanning the items.

Employee: that will be 27.95 sir

Y/n: sure thing dude

I grab out my wallet and get out the money, I place it on he counter and the employee takes it

Employee: see ya

I wave goodbye and grab the basket, I take out the items and begin to walk back to the car, as I reach the first block my phone begins to go off. I grab out my phone and see the call is from MJ. I quickly accept.

Y/n: hey MJ what's up?

MJ: not much just wanted to see what you were doing

Y/n: not much, just got some groceries

As I say this that same dude from in the shops rushes out and dashes down the block.

MJ: what's that?

Y/n: I don't know, some random dude running out of a store

MJ: you seem busy. How about I call you when you get home?

Y/n: yeah I can do that, talk to you soon

I end the call with MJ and continue to walk down the block, as I get to the second block I see two men struggling, after a few seconds a loud gun shot is sounded and one of the men fall to the ground and the other runs off, I quickly rush over dropping the groceries by accident.

Y/n: sir are you okay?!

As I get closer the figure begins to become more clear...DAD!

Y/n: DAD!

I kneel down next to him, I see the bullet wound. I quickly place my hands over it and apply pressure

Y/n: dad! Stay with me!...SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!!

The bleeding gets worse, my dad begins to get more and more loose.

Dad: m-my boy

My dad mutters those words with weakness.

Y/n: dad! Your gonna be fine!

Dad: i-it's okay y/n

My Dads body goes limp. His breathing completely stopped. I take my hands of his corpse,

Y/n: NO DAD PLEASE!

( 1 hour time skip)

The police came. They'd taken me home and broke the news to my mother, she was of course in tears. But me? I was gonna find that piece of shit. The police gave my mother and I a sketch of what witnesses saw. It was the same man from within the deli with me. The blonde man.

I'll track him down to the ends of the earth. And when I find him, he will have hell to pay.

3rd person POV

After a conversation Y/n's mother had finally gone to sleep. Y/n covers her in a blanket and quickly makes his way to his room. He reaches underneath his bed and pulls out his suit. Y/n quickly dresses into it and opens his bedroom window.

He crawls out of his window and sticks to the wall outside. He silently closes the window and crawls to the roof. As he reaches the roof he perched on the ledge.

Y/n begins to leap roof to roof using his abilities. He finally makes it to the deli where the man was. Y/n rummages around in his pants pocket and pulls out his phone, he clicks on his photos and the sketch of the man shows up. Y/n looks down trying to find something.

As y/n is about to leave a woman's cry stirs him from doing so. Y/n looks down into the alleyway and sees the man robbing some random woman, y/n quickly leaps onto the wall above the alleyway. Y/n dives down and lands on the man.

Y/n quickly stands up.

Y/n: get out of here lady

The woman grabs her bag off the ground and rushes away. The man turns and looks at y/n.

Thug: who the hell are you?

Y/n: someone who lost something

Y/n picks up the guy and throws him into the wall. The thug falls to the ground again.

Y/n: you remember y/f/n? The man you shot in cold blood!

( y/f/n = your fathers name)

Thug: what does it matter to you?

Y/n: everything!

Y/n picks up the man by his collar and begins to punch him in the face. Y/n throws him to the ground, multiple sirens begin to Blair and soon enough police showed up.

Police1: you put your hands up!

Y/n: I got him officer, he ain't going anywhere

Police2: not him, you in the tights!

Y/n: really? What about the guy in tights behind you?

The police officers turn around and y/n quickly leaps onto the wall and begins to scale it, when on top y/n begins to run whilst multiple cars below follow. Y/n slips and falls, he is able to grab a clothes line and swing from it, he swings from the clothes line and lands on the floor.

Y/n: swinging seems to be the way to go

Y/n continues to run from the police, and avoiding everything he can.

(1 hour time skip)

Y/n crawls up his house wall and reaches his window, he opens his window and crawls through it. He falls through the floor and takes off his mask.

Y/n: at least those police officers have that scum bag now, now he can rot in a jail cell.

Y/n walks to his desk and pulls out a piece of paper, he begins to doodle some notes on it. Y/n takes the rest of his suit off and hops into bed.
