Birth of the King

It was dark, the hospital room that I was in was full of lights and doctors, doing many things to my body, they were trying to revive me but the results were of no use, I died

My mother and father hired the best doctors and caretakers, bought the best medicine and delicately cared for me but in the end, it only prolonged my due date

Just before I breathed my last breath, my sister came into the room with what looks like multiple syringes filled with  yellowish liquid inside

"Don't worry brother, this serum can revive you, if not then it can at least reincarnate you" she said while injecting one of it on my right arm whilst crying

Reincarnation huh, I never really believed it, maybe my sister was conned by someone, too bad I can't deal with him or her

She injected the second syringe on my left arm and finally injected the last syringe on my nape, hehe this reminded me of one of the gruesome animes I've watched called Attack on Titan

My sister seemed to wait for me to recover, but I finally breathed my last breath and died, forcing myself to leave them with a smile because of how caring they were of me even though I was like this

Opening my eyes again, I was not in the hospital room I once was in, instead was an infinitely spacious darkness and I was floating in the middle of it, I guess this is where I will spend eternity or at least until this place gets destroyed or erased from existance

Death was always a fascinating subject to me, it was unexplored because no one can ever comes back from death once they've stayed with it long enough, my suspicions of there being souls inside us is verified due to me being here

Just when I was about to shut my eyes once more to sleep, there was an entity that looked like it was female but had no face

It looked godly, the entity- no, deity went up to me and waved her hands, all of a sudden the darkness became a beautiful landscape

"Wh-who are you?!" I asked the deity

"I am what you would called an omnipotent being, I am the beginning and the end, the creation and the destruction, I am everything while also being nothing, you may call me the Overseer because I foresee and manage your universe" the deity answered with a voice like that of a beautiful woman

"Why are you here?" I asked, there was no real reason why she would be here, I'm just a mortal, she can create me as much as she wants

"It is because of the fluid your sister has injected into you, those three fluids are called revival fluid, divine blood and my tears" she said

Wait, how did my sister get a hold of an omnipotent being's tears, no, how did she even get a hold of any of those?!

"I cannot answer that question mortal, for it is forbidden to reveal to any of the secrets to the beings in your universe" she said while reading my mind

Well, what do you expect from someone all powerful, what does those three liquids even do to me?

"The revival fluid will grant you reincarnation after death which you have already experienced, the divine blood will grant you with a perfect body, even more perfect then any of those false gods who proclaim to be one, and finally, my tears will grant you powers unlike any other, it can copy any person's abilities no matter how hard they are to get, it also boosts your perfect body's power to a massive degree while also removing any limiter your body might have"

Those are really useful, especially for the third, but wait, if I were to be reincarnated, why am I here instead of being reincarnated?

"It is because I have sensed my own presence in you, that was due to the third fluid injected in you, I have looked through your history and saw that you are one of the few good souls still left on earth, normally your reincarnation would be random but I will make an exception and reincarnate you anywhere you'd like, as a reward for being a good soul until your death"

"Can I go to greek mythology as Hades?" I asked

"Interesting, you aren't asking to go to the DC universe instead?"

"I want to but that universe just has too much villains, and not to mention Trigon and The Presence, there's also Darkseid and Doomsday who can easily kill me"

"Good thing you think things through unlike others"

"Yeah, I don't want to die early"

"Any other requests?

"Can you bring women from other dimensions?"

"Alright, who would you like to be there?

"Diana, Mera, Kara Zor-El, Raven, Starfire and Blackfire"

"Diana is easy because she already has greek pantheon blood, same fore Mera but the others, I will need time to make their stories"

"Alright, thank you"

...After a while...

"Alright, Kara would be the daughter of the titan Chronos and Rhea, she would be birthed before Zeus, Raven would be the daughter of Nyx and Erebus, Starfire and Blackfire would be born from Hyperion while Diana would be born from Zeus and a mortal woman instead of Hypolita while Mera would be a nymph residing in the ocean"

"Thank you"

"Alright, now off you go, and by the way, you would be the first born"

"Okay, thank you again"

I said then felt like my body was being converted into a small version of me and was also feeling that my body was being imbued with immense physical and magical powers

Rhea POV

I was currently sitting on my bed caressing my belly, in it was my first child with my husband Chronos, suddenly, I felt the fetus in my belly disappear which made me worry and panic, but thankfully, the fetus returned and I gave a sigh of relief

The child would hold great power as I sense his powers in my belly, my child would be so great if it were not for the prophecy that our father, Uranus, had given to Chronos before his last breath

The prophecy said that, just like our father, Chronos would be overthrown by his own children too, this prophecy made my husband paranoid and did all he could to not let me conceive a child but inevitably, I still got pregnant with his child

The once golden age of the titans, was lost all because of the prophecy that father had given to Chronos, it wouldn't have been lost if Chronos had not feared the prophecy and would take care of his children, but he was too paranoid

Just then, I felt pain in my stomach, I called all the titanesses to help me in birthing my child

The child I was currently trying to get out of me was pretty small actually, but his divinity and power gave me great pain in trying to conceive him, thankfully his birth all went smoothly and I got to look at him, his divine aura rivaled that of father's, I could sense kingly aura on him with the power similar to that of the whole underworld itself

"His name shall be Hades, the future ruler of the Underworld"

I said with a smile to him

Then, a titan came into the room and told me that I was being summoned to the throne room where my 'husband' was currently present

My smile immediately turned to a frown as I do not know what my husband the king of the titans would do to his child, especially when he has this much power
