Decayed Legacy (Izuku Midoriya x OC)

Chapter 3

-Emiko Hakamada POV-

Mr. Aizawa retracted his scarf.
"I have returned your impractical Quirk" said Mr. Aizawa. "Take your final throw. Hurry and get it over with"
"Was that really necessary?" I heard Miss Yukiro ask.

"I didn't ask to be supervised" he said.
"Yeah, well, you need it" she said.
I looked at Midoriya, he was thinking...

'Come on, Midoriya... you can do this'
He began his throw and I noticed that he focussed his power in his finger.
The ball shot in the air with an incredible force...

I smiled brightly.
'Amazing...'
"Mr. Aizawa" said Midoriya. "You see, I'm still standing"

"He threw it over 700 meters!" said a guy who looked like Pikachu.
"Nice!" said Ochaco. "He's finally showing us his true power!"
"Nice one, curly boy!" I chuckled.

"His finger appears to be broken now" said Iida. "Just like in the exam. His Quirk is very odd"
"It wasn't a very pretty throw" said the French guy, Aoyama I think his name was.
I looked at Bakugo, who looked like he had seen a ghost, before turning angry again...

"Hey! Deku you bastard!" he yelled and ran towards Midoriya. "Tell me how you did that or you're dead!"
Suddenly, a blue power appeared around him and he stopped moving.
He also became unable to use his Quirk.

We looked at the two teachers.
Miss Yukiro was holding him back with her powers while Mr. Aizawa erased his Quirk.
'Oh my God. Miss Yukiro is the magic hero: Blue Witch'

"How the hell are you doing this?" said Bakugo to Miss Yukiro.
"I have telekinetic powers, do your research" she said. "Now stand down"
"It'd be wise to avoid making me use my Quirk so much" said Mr. Aizawa. "It gives me serious dry eye"

"Too bad, that power is amazing" said everyone.
Miss Yukiro let Bakugo go.
"We're wasting precious time" she said. "Whoever is next can step up"

Midoriya came to us.
"That looks like it hurts" I said when I saw his finger. "You okay?"
"Sure, fine" he said.

Test 6: Sit-ups

I worked together with Midoriya.
He fought through the test, even though it must hurt with that finger...

Test 7: Seated toe-touch

Luckily for me, I could easily touch my toes.
Guess gymnastics paid off.

Test 8: Long-distance run

Here I used the same trick as the 50-meter dash.
Using my Quirk for so long, was hard, but it paid off.

Then it was time to see the chart.
"All right, time to give you your results" said Mr. Aizawa. "I've ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a solid idea of your ranking. I'll just pull up the whole list. It's too troubling to go over each individual score"

I was ranked 5th place, but on the 21st place was Midoriya...
"And I was lying. No one's going home" said Mr. Aizawa, we were all surprised.
But even Miss Yukiro was surprised...

"That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests" said Mr. Aizawa.
"Surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out" said Momo. "Sorry, guess I probably should've said something"
'I don't think he was bluffing...'

"That's it, we're done for the day" said Mr. Aizawa. "Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning"
"Midoriya" said Miss Yukiro and gave him a piece of paper. "Go and see Recovery Girl, she can fix you up"

-Third Person POV-

"Aizawa, that was a rotten move" said All Might.
"All Might, so you were watching" said Aizawa. "No talk shows today?"
"A rational deception, that's cute" said All Might.
